The official program has been launched for Winter Whale Fest 2025, which hits Victor Harbor in June. We're promised an event that is "bigger, bolder, and brimming with coastal magic" ...and you know what that means?

In case you missed it, Pirates Storm the Harbor is officially part of the Winter Whale Festivities, nestled in amongst science talks, First Nations art, tree planting on the Bluff, and the debut of the Kondoli Lantern Project.

And while we're not saying we're the only event on the program to feature a giant squid, but I don't know there are too many others.

We are currently working on a big project with a big lineup, with a even bigger deadline.......Somone isn't helping..... So if Jessica would just get of the chair so Laney Dog could get her work done it would be great!

Recently, I've had the nagging feeling that something has been overlooked. We booked a great venue, organised *four* amazing local bands, got the bar fully stocked, and even got posters printed.
..but we forgot to tell you about it!
MARK THE CALENDARS! Pirates Storm the Harbor: Saturday June 21st.

Captain Hellfire and The Wretched Brethren, Storm The Crown, Shadow Monarchy, and Steal Capz are set to invade the Victor Harbor Town Hall, as we sail on an odyssey through the raw grit of grunge, the power of metal, the chaos of punk, and the swagger of pirate rock.

If you were there last time, you know what to expect - but 2025 will be even more! Bigger! Better! More rambunctious!
(...if you weren't there, you missed out. Don't make the same mistake again!)

Earlybird tickets just $20 if you grab 'em before May 1st. All ages welcome, under-15s accompanied by a responsible parent/guardian. Bring ID to drink.

BREAKING NEWS! Santa’s sleigh is bogged and stuck on the Goolwa Beach 4WD access track! 🎅😮

Have no fear, Santa’s trusty elves are on their way to rescue Santa and his reindeer and help them out of this very sandy situation.

With Christmas magic ✨ on their side, the elves will have Santa and his reindeer back on schedule in no time! ⏰

Sources have told us that Santa said he will avoid the Goolwa beach track next year because his sleigh is NOT a 4WD. 🚫

Merry Christmas to everyone in Alexandrina. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday. 🎁🎄

You might even catch a glimpse 👀 of Santa, accompanied by his reindeer and playful elves flying high in the sky tonight. 🌠

And remember, don’t drive on the Goolwa Beach access track if you're not in a 4WD and do not know how to drive in deep sand!

We are pretty proud of this one, Victor Harbor Rock 'N' Roll Festival won the community Event of the Year as part of the Victor Harbor's Citizens of the year awards.

Of course this wasn't just us, we are just a part of a bigger group with the HISTORIC MOTOR VEHICLES CLUB INC, and in particular Malcolm and Jenny Haythorpe (who really should just have an award for being awesome).

The City of Victor Harbor’s top citizens have been announced, reflecting a strong community-mindedness and tireless work ethic in our region.
