Need another reason to come to She Bop Festival - Victor Harbor - March 28th ? Because 10 awesome bands for just $4 each somehow still isn’t enough.

Right next door at the Coral Street Art Space, you’ll also find Powerful Women (Kin), a curated exhibition led by Ngunawal artist and emerging curator Kristal Matthews of Wilay Designs. Linked by a small doorway between the two spaces, it’s easy to move from the music into an inspiring exhibition celebrating the strength, influence and creative leadership of women who shape our lives, our communities and our arts practice.

Open as part of the festival, Powerful Women (Kin) will be there for everyone to experience.

We’ve had a few people ask how the two-stage thing works at She Bop Festival, so here’s the secret:

You don’t have to choose.

The Victor Harbor Town Hall and the Victa Cinema are right next door to each other, and your ticket lets you wander between both rooms all night.

Feeling loud guitars and big energy? Head into She Rocks in the Town Hall.

More in the mood for something intimate? Pop next door to She Rules in the cinema.

See a band you like, grab a drink, wander next door, discover someone new, then drift back again. Easy.

It’s not really two separate gigs — it’s one big night of music spread across two rooms.

Lets meet an artist

Meena De Silva is a Sri-Lankan Australian pop/R&B artist and singer whose music journey began at four years old. With a strong classical foundation, she achieved her AMEB Certificate of Performance for piano, plays violin and trombone, and served as Music Prefect in high school. Influenced by pop icons like Rihanna, Beyonce and Ariana Grade, she later earned Honors in Popular Music and Creative Technologies at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Meena now writes, records and performs her music at various venues in Adelaide.

Meena released her debut album, Call On Me, in 2021, celebrated by a sold-out album launch at The Jade. Meena’s current writing partnership with Adelaide-based deep house and indie electronic producer ‘uomo’ has garnered global attention with the release of their tracks ‘Love You Right’ and ‘Desk Job’. Meena was handpicked to be part of the WOMADelaide X Northern Sound System Academy Program in 2024, which culminated in her performance at WOMADelaide 2025. She was recently named a Finalist for the 2025 SA Music Awards’ Best
Soul/Funk/RnB People’s Choice Award, and was chosen to perform at this year’s OzAsia Festival.

Meena’s two favourite musical activities are getting swept away in the flow of her song writing, and being on stage with her band. The intimacy of Meena’s live gigs and the haunting sound of her voice will stay with you. Her sometimes joyful, sometimes heartbreaking lyrics will get you moving on your feet, or swaying in your seat.

Last day to apply for this great opportunity with Ridley Farm Studios for 12-25yo's

"Studio Sessions is a Victor Harbor local music initiative in collaboration with The City of Victor Harbor's Youth Development Program, Country Arts SA and Ridley Farm Studio. This program offers emerging artists between the ages of 12 and 25 the opportunity to professionally record music, receive industry mentorship and perform publicly. This program is open to young people who either live, work or play within the City of Victor Harbor.

As part of the application process, participants will go through a shortlisting stage. Applicants are asked to provide evidence of their creative output such as recordings, written lyrics, videos, or live performance examples. These will be requested when shortlisted."
