DISAPPOINTING ANNOUNCEMENT. 😡
This is a very sad and disappointing announcement for the hire car industry.
For our regular Qantas domestic customers we will now have to ask that you walk approximately 150 metres to our new smaller designated area. Unfortunately at this stage this walk is not sheltered so it will mean passengers will be affected by all kinds of weather conditions.

From 21 December 2023, Uber riders will meet their driver at the kerbside outside the terminal.
The new Uber pickup zone at T3 will improve the experience for all customers across the domestic precinct, with traffic entering the Priority Pickup area anticipated to decrease by 35%.
Longer-term, we would like to roll out a kerbside pickup zone at our T2 Domestic terminal. In the meantime, T2 passengers accessing Uber rides via the existing Priority Pickup area should have a much better experience, with congestion in that area set to come down by more than a third.
