Good Morning Wok.Heyers.
I'm so sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news for the second time this week. But unfortunately our Wok.Hey head chef notified us earlier this morning that they have tested positive for COVID. Sifu is currently isolating at home with their family and so far all our RATs have been negative here at HQ.
However the flow on effect on this is that we will not be able to continue through our final week while Sifu is in iso (and the possibility that more of our staff may be asymptomatic at the moment, daily RATs will hopefully help nip that up before it becomes an issue) and we will need to end our deliveries this Friday 22nd instead of next week as initially planned 😭.
We will be taking the website down today and cancelling all existing orders and subscriptions for next week. I'll process the refunds ASAP and should hopefully be done by Friday or at the very latest Saturday evening.
Again, we are so very sorry for the unexpected last minute change in plans.

Hi Wok.Heyers.

Thank you so much for your support over the last year. I hope everyone has been well and keeping safe.

As you know, the price of produce has recently sharply increased, coupled with our ongoing struggle to find staff, we have made the difficult decision to pause Wok.Hey for the foreseeable future.

We know many are doing it tough with the current inflation rates, so we will be continuing our deliveries with no change in price till our final delivery Friday 22nd.

Thank you for your understanding and for your support, and we look forward to relaunching (hopefully not too far in the future) with a stronger team and a tastier menu!

To paraphrase the great Denzel Washington - This is not Good Bye; It’s just see you later (from the movie John Q).

Dear Wok.Heyers!

Thank you so much for your support over the last few months.

We are taking a short break over the Christmas and New Year Holidays to rest, recuperate and (more importantly) test out some new ideas that we've been brainstorming.

Last Deliveries for the year will be on Friday December 24th and we will be resuming deliveries on Tuesday the 4th of January.

We wish you Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year! Here's to an awesome 2022!

On the menu today is Yuzu & Lemon Chicken; our take on a classic favourite, with a twist.

Juicy Chicken coated in a light, crispy batter, then deep fried for ultimate crunch.

For best results:

1. Remove from cardboard container
2. Air fry or bake it in the oven on low to reheat
3. ???? (Pour the Yuzu & Lemon sauce on separately or use as a dip)
4. PROFIT!!!

Our featured dish today is Chicken with Lily Buds & Cloud Ear Mushroom.

This great sounding (and great tasting) dish, is reminescent of claypot chicken rice of my childhood. The chicken is nice and "waat" (if you know, you know... also 'slippery' doesn't really have the same ring to it 😆), the Wood Ear and Cloud Ear mushrooms add's bite and texture while the Lily Buds imparts a delicate flavour to the dish, plus it also makes the dish sound pretty darn epic 😎.

Enjoy this dish as part tonight menu guys, and look forwards to next week's dishes!
