Feliz Dia Del Padre | Happy Father's Day to all those special Papa's and Father figures! 💙🩵

Today from 10am - 3pm, the Art Gallery of South Australia will be hosting a Latin American inspired fun, free, family event called - 'Start at the Gallery: Day of the Dad'.

I'll be performing special bi-lingual children's shows at 12pm and 1pm! 🤹🏽‍♀️

There will also be live dance performances, papel picado activities, photo booth, Frida Fiesta face painting, several tours of the gallery, and more!

Don't siesta! See you at the fiesta! 🥳

'It's raining, it's pouring! 🌧 The old man is snoring!' 💤

Wait! What?! 🤔 It may be raining a lot lately, but the kids are certainly not snoring! Bubbly Bel's music sessions shine on regardless of the weather. 🌈

Edge Early Learning had a blast learning about all things one can do when the weather is 'llovioso'/wet. We made rainbows in the sky with colourful play scarves and got to stand under Bubbly Bel's special 'paragua'/umbrella. ☂️

John Hamblin was one of my favourite childhood Play School presenters along with Benita Collins and Noni Hazelhurst.

John was also known as 'Naughty John' due to his cheeky nature and irreverent nature. As a children's entertainer, I see a lot of myself in John. Although I'm not irreverent, I am by nature; cheeky and not afraid of a double entendre. 🤭

Each day, through our huge 1980's TV box; I eagerly awaited for John and the Play School gang to entertain, enlighten and educate me. As a child, the familiarity of their faces was conforting to me. Years on I took inspiration from these and other iconic Australian children's entertainers as I too am a children's entertainer among other things as well.

My vision is to be just like John. Cheeky, fun, entertaining, educational and enlightening to my very young audience. After all, impressions can last a lifetime. ✨️

Bubbly Bel's music session celebrated not only the traditional comic book superheroes and superheroines; but also the superheroes in our daily lives. Our parents, guardians, doctors, nurses, police people, fire people, CFS, teachers and more! 👊🏽💥

We went on a pretend flight inside a spaceship and then tested our superhero skills through the obstacle course. 🦸🏼

The theme for NAIDOC week 2022 is:
Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! 👊🏻👊🏽👊🏿
It's a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and a chance to acknowledge their history, culture and achievements.

Edge ELC at Angle Vale certainly didn't miss the memo! They engaged the kids with many educational, NAIDOC inspired activities throughout the week. I was thrilled to be a part of their NAIDOC week celebrations too!

The certificate, choccies and perfume are lovely; but the Rue/Ruda plant is extra special. 🌿

My Mama used to have a large, bushy Rue plant as it's the go to natural medicine for us Chileans. Whenever anyone has a tummy ache, gastro, period pain or general malaise; Chilean Mama's and Abuela's suggest drinking some Rue tea. 😌🍵

I had an absolute blast with the Spanish Speaking Intergenerational Group. Muchas gracias y hasta pronto! ✨️

Well....what a magnificent reception I was given by 'La Familia Hispana: Spanish Speaking Intergenerational Group'. 🥰

Although it was cold and raining outside, their welcome was warm and friendly. ☀️

I sang popular Spanish and English children's songs. It was lovely to see the different generations enjoying Bubbly Bel's show! 🤹🏽‍♀️

Honk! Honk! 🚚🛻💨
This week the ELC celebrated all our tradie's and those who work in the construction industry. 🏗🧱🚧🛑👨🏻‍🔧👩🏼‍🏭👷🏿‍♂️👷🏽‍♀️

I got into the theme with my hi-vis top and brought a fun, tradie themed music session for the kids. 'Bob The Builder' was played many times as per the kids request! 😄👷‍♂️

I began my Bubbly Bel journey at 'Where We Grow ELC' in Angle Vale. Not long after, I also joined the Virginia centre. My time there was wonderful!

Now the same staff and children remain but the centre's name has changed. 'Edge Early Learning' has taken over and I can already see that bigger and better things are coming to everyone involved.

Muchas gracias for everything 'Where We Grow ELC'. I'll cherish the memories. ❤️

This week I performed special Easter themed shows for all the kids at the Virginia and Angle Vale Edge ELC. They had a blast going on an egg hunt and dancing to Easter bunny themed songs! 🐇🥚

Hola March! 👋🏽 Where did February go?! 😯

Although Summer's officially over, I'm enjoying being outside with the kids and bringing them music sessions that are lots of fun with a variety of interactive songs to keep them entertained. ☀️

Hope you all get to enjoy the warm weather and festivities of Adelaide's 'mad March'! I absolutely love this time of year! 😊🎪🎭🎫

She enlightened them with some fun facts about traditions some people observe both here in Australia and in other countries.

The most surprising one for them was that in Latin American countries, February 14 is celebrated as the day of 'Love and Friendship'. 💖🫂 That way no one is left out. Awwww 🥲

My name is Bel and I'm thrilled to introduce myself to you as 'Bubbly Bel Children's Entertainer'! 😃

I have 11 years experience as a versatile, engaging and dynamic children's entertainer.
I have performed at birthdays, christenings, theatres, festivals, Adelaide Zoo, Adelaide Fringe Festival, early learning centres, schools, centres for children with special needs and specialised events for children and teens with disabilities and more!
Near or far - I've been fortunate to travel all over South Australia and Victoria entertaining a diverse range of children. 🤹🏽‍♀️

Performing for kids is unlike anything else! They're sincere, engaging, energetic and fun! I love giving them a happy and safe space to participate in music, games and educational fun; including children and teens with special needs. 💞

I'm passionate about culture too. That's why I am a bi-lingual children's entertainer.
