These amazing peeps had postponed their big day 3 times previously so I was thrilled to finally get them married on attempt 4! The love felt for Darcee and Carol by their family and friends was so energetic and incredible. It was my absolute honour to finally legally marry these two beautiful souls.
One of the popular rituals I offer (if you want it) as a part of your Ceremony is a Handfasting Infinity Knot which you get to keep at the end of your day. I personally hand braid the ribbons in the colours of your choice, with up to six strands able to represent the different virtues in your pending nuptials.
Todays gorgeous couple were blessed with a break in the clouds to really show off this stunning home view! And what better way to end a ceremony than to watch the talented Byron Bay Japanese Drum Group! Massive Congratulations Ladies, it was a beautiful wedding!

‘Our celebrant for our wedding was Jodie Martin. She was absolutely amazing! She worked with us on our wedding, which was not an easy task considering we are 8 hours away from her, then there was daylight savings and my full time job, that proved diffucult with communications, she went above an Beyond to accomodate after hours calls, she wrote the most beautiful story about us and added it to our ceremony, the absolutely huge wedding guide she gifted us was just amazing and full of everything you could think of to have in your ceremony.
She is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure your ceremony is perfectly designed for your special day.
I would certainly recommend her to anyone wanting a celebrant.
She does different types of ceremonies custom designed to what you want including traditional, hand fasting, pagan/Wiccan and more.

Simply stunning!
Today’s intimate foggy elopement was a heartwarming experience! We were chaperoned to the location via 4 wheel dirt bikes (which also became the signing table!) and surrounded by Mother Nature at her best. The rain held off as if deliberate for C and R’s beautiful day. Then add the charismatic talent of Riku K Photography, we had ourselves a blast!
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Speers! Absolutely loved the pleasure of being a part of your beautiful wedding at Summerland House. It was simply perfect!

Gift your guests with boutonnières and fresh-flower hair clips. Arrange them on trays near the beginning of the wedding aisle. If your wedding has a distinct theme, wearable favours are a great way to set the mood.
To veil or not veil, that is the question?
I know that when I tried on my wedding dress, it didn’t hit home for me until someone placed a veil in my hair and my mum shed a tear. But then I’ve seen some absolutely beautiful brides without one. What’s your take?
Wedding Tip: Buy a new never been worn unique perfume (or man-fume) for your wedding day. The scent will forever be connected with your special day and is a lovely reminder on things like anniversaries or special occasions.
