When it comes to mapping out your floor plans, it’s easy to get caught up in planning based on what’ll look best. But there’s more to it than just the ✨aesthetics✨. The functionality and flow of your space need a seat at that table!
Thing’s we ask ourselves when crafting the perf floor plan….
How will the guests move through the space?
How does the day flow from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception?
Where will the bar line form?
Do service staff have clear access from back of house to each table?
Are the bathrooms accessible and well-marked?
How will the sound travel once the party gets cranking?
Is there space for people to be apart of the party without having to be on the d-floor?
Some hot tips to slay your floor plan ❤️🔥
Where possible, place your seating chart in a way that’s accessible during cocktail hour. This way the process of seating your guests won’t take 20 minutes while people line up to scan for their names.
Consider the wind direction, and chat with your DJ about having the sound travel toward the dance floor.
Provide at least 75cm around each table (seats included!) for service staff to tend to each table without having to ask auntie sue to budge out the way.

Yes, the temptation is there, but fast production and our eco system are NOT friends. Try thrift shopping, or scoping some decor second hand from Facebook market place!

Imported florals do slay, we love them ourselves, but if you want to make more green choices, use the blooms grown here down under.
💻 ONLINE INVITES
Use a free website such as I DO to generate and send out your invites!

Choose a cater that is waste conscious, and sources locally.
🍾 CONTAINERS FOR CHANGE
