We just had the pleasure of working on the Housing Industry Awards last week for ! Jam Pro looked after lighting and sound, using a whopping 170 fixtures, 30 universes and two 27k projectors!

To all the amazing friends, family and newbies who have supported our Tropical Sounds Event in a number of different ways, first off thank you deeply.

It is with the heaviest of hearts will need to postpone the event due to valuable members of our staff testing positive for covid.

This is not going to effect the event still going ahead at a later date so please don’t be upset!

It was always a risk with the borders being opened and it’s within all staff, acts and patrons best interest to hold off a few weeks until we can confirm a new date.

Please be patient with us as we are making all the necessary arrangements, changes and discussions to find a more suitable time and will make sure we announce things as they happen!

Stay safe everyone and we wish you the best new year and are still super pumped to bring this amazing Tropical Sounds Festival Pool Party to all you crazy cats!

Words can not decribe how pleased we were to be back on a National Conference for HRIA ! It was touch and go initially but the committee at HRIA were adamant the conference would go ahead and it was the best one we have been involved in yet! The vibe was electric with everyone so excited to be finally back at a conference. With the largest trade in QLD to date since Covid, 2 plenary days and 4 nights of functions HRIA really laid it on this year. Targeted Program Management  our second JAM FAM hit the ground running and organised another seemless conference, so nice to be back together!

Thank you to Tropic Now for advising us of the initial intent of Cairns Regional Council to push through a large activation with a Sydney firm without the need for public tender due to short time frame and lack of local capacity. According to a council media release, the initial grant was applied for back in August 2020. JAM Productions was so honoured to be engaged by Cairns Performing Arts Centre provide the amazing Amy Shark floor package for her February show in Cairns. With hardly any concerts touring at the moment the crew were very excited to be involved and couldn't wait to assist towards showcasing such a talent. Amy performed like the true rock star she is and Cairns responded as such. A big shout out to Chameleon Touring Systems for sub hiring all the specialised lighting gear that made Amy's show look so great! Designed by Timmy Beeston at Flashbang Productions by Dave Jackson. A big thank you to Zack Marshal and the whole Amy Shark crew for being so easy to work with. We can’t wait to have you back in Cairns Amy and are looking forward to hearing your new album!

Against all odds with COVID-19, then impending cyclone Kimi that fizzled out after the crew reached panic stations and had to strike the lighting towers and secure the whole park, HALO - Life Below Water at Queens Gardens and Castle Hill prevailed, and we were so proud to be part of the team delivering it again this year.
We had our Turbosound Berlin series PA supplying sound with our Yamaha consoles running the show, and Qlab delivering timecode to the grandMA2 consoles operating the lights supplied by our mates at Chameleon Touring Systems.
A huge thanks to Townsville City Council for having us on board, and well done to the insanely creative team at AGB Events for yet another spectacular sound and light art installation.
Big hugs to our JAM lads for all their hard work❤️

Big thanks to AGB Events for inviting us to setup their show, , fresh from the Smithsonian. This immersive sound and light exhibition takes you on a journey of Australian history, and the discovery of some of our unique flora and fauna.
🧰🛠: 5 custom built rear pro screens and 6k ansi lumen projectors, all driven by watchout.

Bounce Cairns approached us last year to vamp up their bar area, and we recently collaborated again to convert a once dark and dingy carpark into a fun and luminous space. With 150 dimmable vintage globes, 6 EK E3 spots and our super rad glow bars and furniture - it was awesome getting our install on again💡⚡️✨

Incredibly honoured to be asked by the legends at MPH Australia to hit the desert with them for the biggest lighting event of 2020. Parrtjima Australia kicked off last night, and we were pretty stoked to see just how spectacular it turned out🤩

It’s been a grim 6 months of no gigs so, when approached by Mad Monkey Backpackers to create a bangin entrance to their new beer garden, we were bloody over the moon. With interactive content and a light art installation of 50 umbrellas lining the alleyway, we’re branding it as our Axyl would; the 'Party Portal'🥳🎶💥
