Some weddings just leave you with the loveliest feeling.

Eve & Ashton, yours was certainly one of them.

From that first quiet moment when everyone closed their eyes and you had the chance to really take in the people who had gathered around you, to the laughter, the beautiful words, the handfasting and having your dads beside you as witnesses, your ceremony felt so genuinely you.

It was also incredibly special for me to marry two people I have come to know through family connections, and to see firsthand the affection, admiration and respect you have for each other.

Thank you for trusting me with your story and allowing Brad and I to share such a beautiful day with you.

May your marriage be as sweet as the little jar of honey and may you always be like the bees 🐝 working together, looking after each other and building something pretty wonderful side by side.

I have a feeling there is a very beautiful adventure ahead for these two.

40 years married this month… and we still choose each other ❤️

As a celebrant, I stand beside couples on one of the most important days of their lives, talking about love, commitment, and what it really takes to build a life together. And after all these years with Brad, I can say, I don’t just talk about it, I live it.

We’ve built our life on respect, teamwork, resilience, doing the right thing, and showing up for each other always. Love isn’t perfect, but it’s real, it’s steady, and it’s worth

Although… put us in a paddock with cattle and suddenly it’s all about who opened the gate and who was meant to shut it 😅
