How divine is Rosewood Estate at Beechmont and the bonus is it’s located 5 mins from our farm.

Rosewood Estate has the most stunning, magical, jaw dropping, heavenly views overlooking Hinze dam and the beautiful Gold Coast…

I popped into their open day yesterday and met lots of wedding suppliers who are nailing their services for couples…

Celebrating new life…

Born - 13 September 2023

It was a magical afternoon to welcome Krista and Brent’s beautiful baby girl to the world.

Cherished family members and dear friends gathered to celebrate the 5th Oosen baby.

“A daughter is one of the best gifts this world has to give”.

I believe that Brent and Krista totally agree with this statement, especially after having four gorgeous sons.

What a lucky little bumble bee Demi is to have 4 big brothers to guide her and look after her. I am excited to see how this all pans out.

A celebration of life is a family affair, a rite of passage and an opportunity to pass down cultural values and beliefs to the next generation.

We concluded the ceremony with a Circle of love starting with the Bhramari Pranayama (Bee Breathing) Technique, to ensure everyone felt calm and peaceful and connected to Mother Earth as they each gave their energy and blessings to little Demi as she met everyone.

It was a beautiful afternoon- welcome precious girl - I love you 💋

Nearly 300 family and friends gathered on the waterfront at Cooktown to witness Trudy & Ronnie marry.

Leading up to the ceremony it was a beautiful day spent with my cousin Trudy and her bridal party including her gorgeous daughters. I had fun doing everyone’s hair and makeup and keeping the bride relaxed.

The reception was at the Cooktown races, where I put my MC hat on and we toasted and celebrated in true Cape style.

Black image band played and we all danced the night away… a great country wedding…

Congratulations to Trudy and Ronnie, may you have a wonderful life together xx

These stunning fig trees provided us with a dreamy location to hold a wedding.

Not only was there a stage,chairs and plenty of room and beautiful gardens to provide backdrops for photos but they also have a cool function room for the reception.

I shared with the guests funny snippets of John & Desolie’s ten year romance and most importantly watched the bride and groom relax, laugh and totally enjoy their moment.

I really enjoyed officiating this wedding and wish the gorgeous couple a fantastic future together….

At my last wedding it started to rain just as I pronounce the couple husband and wife. So we skipped signing the paperwork until later, they had a wonderful kiss and I quickly told them that it was an extra special day as it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day… it was a magical moment as I introduced them as Mr & Mrs under the protection of a beautiful fig tree.

Married on New Years Eve

Peter and Leann

One of the most remarkable moments in life is when you meet the person who makes you feel complete and it’s clear to see my latest couple Peter and Leann are perfect for each other.

They guaranteed their future together by marrying on New Year’s Eve 2022 amongst 50 of their closest family and friends.

I have been friends with the bride for over 30 years and it was wonderful to see Leann looking so beautiful and so very happy standing next to her man.

I loved marrying these two as I know in my heart they are meant to be together 💋

Mother Nature produced smiles all round when she provided the most glorious day for these two lovebirds.

We held an intimate ceremony at Back Creek Farm, witnessed only by three of the couples closest friends and a herd of Speckled Park cattle.

Simon captured his vows so perfectly,

“I promise to always care for you, connect with you, comfort you and celebrate with you. I will be by your side through whatever life may bring and cherish the time we have together. I feel lucky to have found someone who embraces all that I am and enriches my life in so many ways. The values, dreams and plans we share make me excited for our future. I can’t wait to continue this adventure with you.”
