Love, love, love having elderly group visits - so many stories/memories to listen to. Lorna the Clydesdale met Lorna the legend, the chickens and Molly the donkey had many pats, lunch in the marquee and even though Butleigh Bar was not open, two gentleman still found their way there to stand and chat!! What a wonderful day.

This shows how much fun the holidays have been at Butleigh Farm!
So many children and adults have visited these past two weeks. The animals have been so well fed, patted and loved. I am a little exhausted…….but, I am so driven by all the positive comments, smiles and endless questions. I am really lucky to be able to share what I love with so many people. Thank you to everyone for your support.

A great day at the farm today. Plenty of people took the opportunity to pop in and try out battery powered equipment as well as discuss and try all their power equipment options ….. from auto mowers to zero turns to chainsaws to UTVs and lots more. Back on again tomorrow and Thursday so pop in between 10am and 3pm. Also get to say hi to the animals as they watch on.

Looking forward to what 2024 brings!

If you have visited Butleigh Farm you would no doubt have met Addison. How lucky you have been to have had that experience. He has been the most loyal, happy, gentle pet. He shared his life not only with us, his owners, but with every child, parent, visitor that came to Butleigh Farm. Never ever did he not welcome people with a loud bark and a wagging tail and if he really liked you he would turn and sit on your feet just to make sure you didn’t stop patting him. He won over everyone’s heart as he did ours. Sadly, today we had to say goodbye. He passed away peacefully in one of his favourite spots…..the front verandah looking out over the Butleigh Farm paddocks. Good bye beautiful boy ❤️
