WOW!!!! What a crazy school holiday period. So many visits, so many children, so many smiles! The animals and I have had an extremely busy, but fun, time over the past two weeks. A lovely group of ladies from a Warrnambool book club visited the farm on Sunday. Was wonderful introducing them to all the animals and giving them a tour of the farm.

Today Betty met one of the lovely people that suggested her name. Courtney and her family patted and fed her. Both Betty and Daphne are growing stronger every day and doing everything they should be. ❤️

Well…. that was a hard decision🤔 made harder by all the great suggestions. But, in keeping with our name style here at Butleigh Farm we have chosen Betty and Daphne. I will message our winners today to organise their prize, but a huge thank you to everyone for your suggestions. We have had many, many laughs and discussions about names over the past few days. When we walked out this morning to feed them they came running to their new names …. may have also been because we had buckets of warm milk for them 🪣🪣🤣

Nanny and Pa Hicko need help!
We have adopted two young jersey cows to come and live at Butleigh Farm. But…. we cannot think of names for them. We would love all our friends, visitors and Butleigh Farm followers to help us name the new girls. If you’re the first to suggest a name that we use then there will be a prize for you. Remember, we love unique animal names on the farm so start thinking and sending through your ideas. Will take comments, texts and/or emails. .

A little Christmas Wish happened and my books arrived unexpectedly. ✨ ✨ ✨✨✨ I’ve spent a couple of days delivering all my pre-orders so lots of children can unwrap ‘Butleigh Farm Dogs’ tomorrow morning. 🎁🎁 🎁 Pretty sure a yellow lab named Addi may have helped out from ‘the other side’ or so I like to think anyway. ❤️🎁If anyone is wanting to purchase a last minute gift for their child please pop on out to Butleigh Farm and I’ll be happy to sign a book for you. This is Addi’s story and I want everyone to read it!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
