What a wondful celebration, the wedding of Tara and Mike at the Inglewood Inn. Through our conversations and meet up in the lead up to Tara and Mike's wedding I was able to gain some great insight into whom these two caring and kind indiviudals were. On meeting Mike, it was immediately apparent he had a great sense of humour and wit about himself; open to engage in some wholesome banter. And Tara, so sweet and softly spoken. Tara had mentioned that she wished she could get married in the Forest. This comment alone revealing her passion for all things living (humans, animals, and nature) and a deep hope of having a wedding experience that was etheral and magical. I have no doubt that your aspirations for the day were exceeding. It truly was magnificient. I am eternally grateful and humbled for the opportunity to have shared and captured both your special day. Tara and Mike's wedding day was such a wonderful occasion to be involved in. This is a couple whom are genuinely warm and kind souls. Whilst there were unavoidable absentees of guests who were unable to make the trip to be part of Tara and Mike's day; I hope that in some form this wedding trailer offers ALL a sense and feel of their beautiful wedding experience. I hope this post finds everyone well in this period of change and realignment for many. For many couples this has meant that wedding plans have had to be modified or deferred, leading to a quieter wedding season. I remain both optimistic and excited for my couples who have booked us for their wedding within the approaching wedding season later in the year. What this period has offered, however, is an opportunity to work on things that we have typically put to the side as "another day" task. For me, this has been our website. And, after many a day learning how to design a website, and tweaking this, and tweaking that, I am excited to finally have our website go LIVE. So check it out!

DELIVERABLES:

I've been giving much consideration to the best method in which to deliver finished films to couples. Many of my videography peers prefer online digital forms of delivery. Which is very appealing from an accessiblitiy, and convenience perspective. Send a link to the couple and they can easily access and view their films anytime on (almost) any device. And indeed, this has been and will likely be my primary method of delivery. However, of equal appeal is the idea of having something tangible; that you can touch and feel. Think CD's vs digital music on Spotify. It's in this vein of thought that I'll be exploring, as an enhancement to my online digital delivery, USB deliveries too! What do you think about the custom made boxes?! Nice, right!

Ealier this month I had the opportunity to film Bec and Ben's special day. It would be my 'maiden' venture capturing a wedding for a couple, and what an experience it was! Ben and Bec were so easy to be around and deal with. Both filled with optimism, gratitude and love. I am very excited to present a teaser trailer which gives but a splash of their wonderful day celebrating becoming Mr and Mrs Dawson.
