NORTHERN IRELAND & SCOTLAND GOLF TOURS - JULY 2022
Two individual golf tours to the UK in July 2022 either side of the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews.

The Northern Ireland tour (10N/11D) incorporates six rounds on the most stunning courses including Royal County Down, Royal Portrush and the newly opened St Patricks Links at Rosapenna.

Scotland (13N/14D) includes eight rounds on some of the most renowned courses including Royal Dornoch, Kingsbarns, Castle Stuart and guaranteed tee times on the Old Course at St Andrews.

For the past 27 years, the Challenge organisation and the Yarra Yarra Golf Club have united forces to host one of the best corporate golf days in Australia. The Challenge Allenby Golf Day & Gala Dinner is one of the most engaging and beneficial golf events on the Australian golf calendar. Participants are presented the opportunity to test their game against a great course in the company of some of the best golfers that this country has ever produced. Golfers that have participated in the past include Ian Baker-Finch, Greg Chalmers, Aaron Baddeley, Stuart Appleby, Geoff Ogilvy, Challenge International Patron, Robert Allenby and Challenge Ambassador, Jarrod Lyle.

The 2018 edition of this event will be held on Monday 26 November which is the day immediately following the World Cup of Golf being held at the Metropolitan Golf Club. In 2016 Jarrod’s great mate Rickie Fowler was in town and dropped in to this event to say hello and sign autographs which we are hoping to emulate. This year’s event will be honouring Jarrod and the indelible mark he has left on the Australian golfing public, cancer fighters and their families worldwide.

The golf day has over 200 participants who are involved in two shot gun starts at the prestigious Yarra Yarra Golf Club where they put their golfing abilities to the test. Whilst doing battle on the renowned Sandbelt course, guests indulge in delicious food and drinks prior, during and after their round. The prize pool is legendary and includes the opportunity to win hole in one prizes on every par 3. There are two vehicles up for grabs and, as usual, a full set of Mizuno golf clubs for all four members of the winning team.

The occasion, however, does not finish here but runs into the evening where our golfers and six of their friends are invited to a Gala Dinner held at Crown. Guests will be wined and dined and entertained by some of Australia’s best performers! There will be opportunities to purchase once-in-a-lifetime experiences that money truly cannot buy.

Without question, this event is an unforgettable one, lavished with exciting experiences! However, the best aspect of the day is that everyone is simultaneously honouring Jarrod and his mission to raise funds to make a difference to the lives of children and families living with cancer.

Challenge is seeking volunteers to assist at the Robert Allenby Golf Day, being held at Yarra Yarra Golf Club in East Bentleigh on Monday, 9th December. Tasks include scoring, driving the drinks carts and food preparation, among others. It’s an early start at 6am and the day finishes at 4.30pm so please contact (03) 9329 8474 if you can help for either a full or half day.
