[HU] Jó estét, pácienseim. A PlagueState 104. része is két óra új mixet hoz el az internet ezen sarkába tévedőknek.

Az első óra a megszokott változatosságra épít, többnyire a héten beérkezett felvételekkel (kivétel a 13-as, ami a 103-asból kimaradt), de van itt elég sok minden a house, a psy trance, a hardstyle és a dnb között. A legtöbb még nem jelent meg, vagy a hét folyamán jött ki (és a 04-es tegnap, és ezt ma reggel küldték el). A heti választásom a 10-es a dallama miatt. A második óra pedig egy komoly meglepetés, amit hirtelen felindulásból követtem el. Az előző hét során a ZYX két albumnyi italo disco válogatást küldött ki. Sajnos jelentős részük vágott változat volt, de emiatt is tudtam tizenhét tracknyit behozni egy órába, és bár néhol eléggé nyakatekerten kevertem át őket (rövid verziókkal nem sokat lehet kezdeni...), többnyire elég szépen összeállt a remasterelt zenei halom a 80-as évekből és a 90-es évek elejéről.

[EN] Good evening, dear patients: PlagueState's 104th episode brings two hours of new mixes to those who find this remote Internet corner.

The first hour built on the usual variety, mostly with tracks that dropped this week (except for 13 that I forgot to include in 103), but there's a lot from house through psy trance, and hardstyle to dnb. Most of them aren't available yet or launched this week (including 04 that was sent this morning). My choice for the week is 10 due to its melody. The second hour is a significant surprise that I made based on an impulse. Over the previous week, ZYX Music DJ Promotion Pool has sent out no less than two albums worth of italo disco music. Unfortunately, most of the tracks were edited versions, but that's why I could include seventeen tracks in an hour, and although I had somewhat weird mixing in a few places (can't do much with edits...), I mostly put the bunch of 80s/early 90s remastered songs into an hour in a listenable format.

Ha már ünnep, akkor toljuk meg keményebben, így most is két óra friss (vagy mostanában érkezett, de korábban megjelent) zenékkel töltöttem meg a két mixet. Az első óra most is a lassabb felvételeknek szól, a második pedig főképp a trance stílussal támad. Az elsőben a commercial dance-progressive house-melodic techno-UK garage irány figyelhető meg (és itt a kedvencem a 15-16-os együtt; elég terjedelmes lett az óra), a második órában pedig van egy kis hands up! kitérő (04), a végén pedig hardstyle-hardcore zárás van (és a kettesben a favorit a 01-es).

Speaking of holidays, let's step on the gas, so I put together two hours with fresh (or freshly sent) music only. The first hour is once again aimed at the slower tunes, while the second trip focuses mainly on the trance genre. The first mix goes on a commercial dance-progressive house-melodic techno-UK garage route (with me having two picks in this hour, namely 15 and 16, the hour was quite packed to say the least), while hour two has a little hands up! detour (04), and it ends on a hardstyle-hardcore line (with the choice for this hour being 01).

Just when I thought endless hours in the studio would have no affect on the world NSTBT pop in for a chat which ends up with a banging release.

A collection of 3 original tracks, and 3 remixes from some of the hardest working names in the scene right now. All are giants in their own right, but when combined they are something else entirely.

It was a collection of 4 heavy and hard hitting industrial techno tracks, with straight up street attitude. This release gained much support, and the attention of some familiar faces. So much so that it inspired them to reach out and offer their own interpretations.

HardtraX loved the release so much, that he dropped a re-edited version of 'Flip That' in our inbox shortly after it’s release. As the name would suggest, it's a peak time heavy hardechno number, that takes all of the balls to the wall attitude of the original version, and gives it the peak time HardtraX treatment. The results speak for themselves. Mechanical, heavy, industrial, hardtechno mayhem!

The guys from Double Dynamic, who recently dropped their debut release on our label: https://nosleeptillbedtime.bandcamp.com/album/nagasaki-e-p Specifically requested for a Zyphor remix to which he happily obliged. And now, here they are returning the favour with an absolutely devastating remix of 'Bring It On'. Not for the faint of heart, this remix pulls no punches!

Last and by no means least for the remixes, we have the abstract darkcore horrorist that is the lurking Tyrant X. Lending his production talents to the cause, he completed this remix back in 2019. This re-imagined version by Tyrant X is the stuff of nightmares. A dark and driving digital barrage of glitched out pulses and mechanical atmospheres. This is Tyrant X doing what he does best. Remixed and relentless.

The two versions of the title track showcase Zyphors diversity and productions skills that he’s developed over the last few years. Adding new textural element, layers and atmosphere. Emotive breaks whilst maintaining a controlled aggression. Zyphor has become a new beast, whilst retaining his signature sound. It’s exciting to think what these next 12months will sound like.

As for his other original track on the release, ’Past Away' was a track that was originally sent to us back in 2019 with the intention of it becoming part of a remix compilation. It underwent many changes over a period of time, and then unfortunately the project was put on hold.
Here it finally gets to see the light of day, as it finds it’s home amongst the collection. Also featuring a very special guest on vocals, this track is heavy, and hard hitting industrial techno, everything that you’ve come to expect from a Zyphor track.

And there we have it. The final [nstbt] release for 2021. A year that feels like it started 2 years ago, and hasn’t stopped…

There are so many things on the horizon still yet to come, loads of new projects and some brand new avenues that we are keen to explore. As we take this opportunity to reflect on all that was. And look forward to all that is yet to be, we again wish to thank you all, and to thank everyone involved in this project once again!

We don’t take any of this for granted… 🙏😔
