This talented lens lady is based in NSW but shoots weddings Australia and the world over. And this epic day in Japan blew us away.
“I feel pretty special being able to capture some amazing, loved-up people… and I was lucky enough to photograph Minami and Isaiah in Tokyo, Japan!” Ellen told us.
“Minami is half kiwi and half Japanese and Isaiah is Tongan! We wanted to showcase these mix of cultures whilst also capturing JAPAN!”

The brainchild of super-talented duo, Kat from @redeclectic and Mariah from @loveonfilmau, the brief for this styled shoot was all things retro with heavy influence from the 60s and 70s.
“We both love capturing the same kind of wedding: intimate, non-traditional lovefests with a focus on fun. We started talking about our dream elopement – the dress, the flowers, the vinyl, the mustang. We were completely inspired by the 60s and 70s aesthetic: yellows, orange and browns, short dresses, big hair and daisies. We had such a distinct vision that we decided to bring it to life.”
