Had an amazing time at the Sabah Flea and Street Markets! 👌🏼 Located by the beach, Sabah is well known for its beautiful fresh produce and seafood. 🤷🏽‍♀️👌🏼 You’ll need 10 stomachs to fully enjoy all this amazing food! 😂😂😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Mari Mari Village is a cultural heritage site located in Sabah, Malaysia, that showcases the traditional lifestyles of the indigenous peoples of Borneo, particularly the Kadazan-Dusun, Murut, Bajau, and other ethnic groups.
Established as a living museum, the village offers visitors an immersive experience, allowing us to explore traditional longhouses, participate in cultural activities, and learn about the various customs, crafts, and rituals that define the local communities.
Guests can enjoy demonstrations of traditional skills such as blowpipe shooting, rice wine making, and weaving, while also tasting local delicacies.
Verdict:: Highly recommended when you are here in Sabah👌🏼👌🏼

So far, since we left the country, we haven’t had any bad coffee! In fact, while we were in Vietnam, we learned so much about their coffee culture and the variety they offered, which will definitely be featured in my in-house catering menu as a dessert. Mind-blowing and super delicious!

Now that I’m in Malaysia, weather its Malaysian coffee or expresso/Flat white.. haven’t been disappointed yet and I don’t even have to ask for double shots! 😂😂🤷🏽‍♀️

As Zus Coffee says, ‘Coffee is a necessity, not a luxury.’ 👌🏼👌🏼 Totally agreed! 🙏🏼👍🏽

Say no more! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🤣

Thosai is what we call it in Malaysia. It has a few other names, like Dosa, Dosey, Dosai, and Dosha. It is a thin savoury crepe in Indian, Malaysian, Singaporean, and Sri Lankan cuisine, made from a fermented batter of black gram and rice.
It’s usually served with dhal, sambar and coconut chutney..

Verdict… to die for 💃🏽💃🏽

Just walking down the street from my mum’s house, you will find stalls of street food selling everything from mee rebus (Melaka laksa/soup, sort of) to all sorts of fritters like pisang goreng (banana fritters), jackfruit, sweet potatoes, yam, and deep-fried fishcakes (keropok lekor) 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. You need ten stomachs for this every afternoon for snacking! 🤣🤣🤣 Believe me when I say that it’s all delicious!”
