It is with mixed emotions that I am closing my doors indefinitely.

Married by Marquessa was built on the foundation of creating unforgettable moments, capturing the essence of love, and making dreams come true.

Regrettably, as a side venture alongside my primary focus, I find myself unable to dedicate the full energy this endeavor truly deserves. I firmly believe in giving my all or nothing.

For those who have entrusted their special day to me, rest assured that all current bookings will be honored with the utmost care and dedication.

I will no longer be accepting new bookings.

Yes I’m a little late to post, but I couldn’t miss the chance to show off these ridiculously good looking humans! Josh, the groom who likes heavy metal, finally found his headbanging partner in Patrice, who is intoxicatingly bubbly and has a heart of gold.

Their wedding at the Port Augusta Yacht Club was a sight to behold! The wind was so strong, it nearly blew Patrice's veil off her head and Josh's hair was flying everywhere, making him look like a rockstar. It made for some pretty epic hair-blowing-in-the-wind photos.

Cheers to the happy couple, may your love be as strong as Josh’s metal vocals 🤘🎤👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

Hey everyone, have you heard about Roxy and Jake's double wedding extravaganza? 🎉👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️ These lovebirds tied the knot twice, once to ✅ the legals 22.02.2022 at 2:22pm in the beautiful Ada Ryan Gardens, and the second time to dress up and show off on 05.03.2022 on the stunning Hummock Hill!

Now, I have to say, I'm a little jealous that they got to have two weddings. But hey, when you're in love, why not celebrate twice, right? 😍 The first wedding was perfect, with blue skies and sunshine all around. But then the second wedding was a little windier than they expected! 💨

But nothing could stop these two lovebirds from saying "I do" once again. The first wedding was short and sweet, but just as beautiful as the second.

Ahhh where to start with these kids. I'm positive most of Whyalla has already heard the stories of Morgan and Daniels wedding ☔️

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, well Morgan and Daniel should buy a lotto ticket, because torrential rain and hail hit an hour before we were due to walk down the aisle.

But don't stress, between myself, Exclusive Bridal Hire And Gifts, Bubbles of Sunshine Photography, North Whyalla Football Club and the best group of Bridemaids and Groomsmen you could ask for .... we got them to the alter (We looked like drowned rats, but we didn't care by this point).

Wedding planning was a breeze with these two. I'm lucky enough to have known Morgan since we were beginners at AIDA (so many memories!🍀). I was stoked to meet her future husband, who turns out, was just as into World of Warcraft as I am ⚔️.

They trusted me to write a ceremony that spoke to their hopes and dreams for the future, and highlighted their past experiences. There were giggles, and awww's and overall, just a sh*t tonne of emotion. They were surrounded by the most amazing group of people... and I should know, I went to school/danced/partied with 90% of them.

I would marry you guys 100x over (if that was legal) and I wish you all the best for the future.

Gah, I WISH Kintara and David could get married again! They’re so friendly and lovely, and they let me get distracted talking about Dragonball Z and Star Wars when we should have been figuring out processional order!

Unfortunately, I have to wait until 2031 for a vow renewal, but I did get to marry them, and it was 11/10 awesome.

In hindsight, we probably should have practiced the handfasting before the big day. But it made for some pretty hilarious photos.

Yes, I will most likely be smiling like a giant goof during your ceremony 😁

Chloe and Ben gave me the greatest gift you can give a celebrant... letting me 3rd wheel into their relationship, their life, their family and their love for wrestling (wooo!)

After many maccas dates and one too many iced coffees, we were able to gather the intel to create a spontaneous, joyful and rollercoaster of emotions ceremony.

The day went off without a hitch! And as you can see from the snap below, it was a love filled day.
