🌿A delicious spread put on today for KARI Australia and their ‘Kari Games’ event hosted as part of their NAIDOC Celebrations with partners, such as GPT, John Holland Group, UGL & Endeavour Energy in attendance, to name a few!

👣 What an awesome weekend we had with our Wilka Thalta Food Truck out at the Sydney Metro project for their Community Open Days on both Saturday & Sunday!
Guests had a huge range of activities to participate in, as well as being able to take Bus Tours to check out 3 of the sites that are well underway for Sydney’s largest infrastructure project to date - not to mention they were treated to a free feed from the Wilka Thalta Food Truck!

👣 Our Wilka Thalta Food Truck (Hungry Kangaroo) was at the National Indigenous Art Fair on the weekend, hosted at Circular Quay and WHAT A DEADLY WEEKEND it was!! We SOLD OUT of many dishes over the weekend and had so many amazing comments which was awesome!! Such an amazing gathering of Blak Excellence!!

🇨🇦 Canada Day for the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney
🍁 We had so much fun putting together a delicious spread of Canadian inspired items whether it featured traditional Canadian foods, flavours or cooking techniques - this was a blast!
♥️ Drawing on inspiration of First Nations Canadian restaurants foods, recipes & knowledge, it’s so wonderful when we’re able to explore other Countries in collaboration with our own. Thank you to the Canadian Consular General for always having us as part of their special events!

Chef Matt’s Mum, Aunty Jo, is not only his mother, but a mother to all within the business - staff & clients alike! Many clients and guests at events call her Mum from the moment they meet her which speaks to her nature and the comfort they find in her demeanour!
Aunty Jo, as Creative Director for the Plate Hospitality Group, looks after all aspects of creative design for our events and Nunka. Hampers & Gifts, with her beautiful floristry skills becoming well known around Sydney. Her ability to bring a clients vision to life in the ambience created pairs perfectly with the foods and flavours laid before them, and so we are truly blessed to have her stand proudly with us & all we do!

HQ is home to the Plate Events & Catering base kitchen, our Wilka Thalta Food Truck, Nunka. Hampers & Gifts shopfront, our beautiful offices, Chef Matt Atkins cooking classes, the Kiosk, our vehicles and our enormous range of 10,000+ props & hire items shelved in over 120m of warehouse storage - we have ALOT to offer!
