After 6 months off of weddings (thanks covid-19) I finally got to shoot not one but TWO weddings in the past week. It was so nice to be back and working with such beautiful clients. I can’t wait to show the beautiful footage captured of their days! 🤍

Would it be New Year’s Eve if I didn’t write a reflection post?
Man what a year, and not in the sense that years usually are for me 😂 this year was business and success. And I say that because it was my first proper year working under my own company. Not many people would say their first year was successful (and honestly it probably wasn’t) but I got so much further than I thought I would have! I got my first full time job, which also got me to finally move out of home - yippee, and even though it’s something that didn’t stick around as long as I thought... it drove me to film the content that I really wanted to capture. Weddings. I got to film my first wedding which had been on my five year goal list for a LONG time. And I’ve already got a handful lined up for next year. Which brings me no greater satisfaction.
All these things adding up has been the biggest learning curve for me, teaching yourself the actual business; marketing & advertising, bookkeeping and accounts etc. The list goes on... Things I had always despised and definitely making many mistakes along the way. Yet still getting to go out every week and do something you love, from shooting food for Deliveroo or uber eats to content creation for local business’, the weddings and still somehow squeezing in your own passion projects. 2018 you’ve been one cracker of a year. And I’d love to say I’m ready for you 2019, but if your anything like this past year, I don’t know just quite yet how hectic you’ll really be! Bring it on.
