Maintenance Technician Required

Lakeside Banquet & Convention Centre are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team, ensuring our venue remains a top-tier choice for events.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including painting, plumbing, and basic carpentry.
Address maintenance issues promptly to minimise disruption to daily operations.
Experience in welding is a bonus
Inspect and maintain the facility to ensure all areas are in excellent condition.

Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in general maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and repairs.
Welding experience or certification is highly desirable.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and able to handle manual labor tasks.

Hi everyone!

After announcing the closure of my business because of my husbands illness & recent passing I've been contemplating the decision to re open Light Up Events Melbourne...

This decision has not come easy for me as I'm used to running it as a partnership with him... I was going to have to go back into the workforce which I haven't done for over 13 years!!! Something I'm not sure I'd be able to do after running this baby for the last 8 years.

I've built this business from the ground up & to let it go to nothing just seems so wasteful... and sad.

So, stay tuned! When I'm ready I will be re advertising that i will be open for business once again.

I hope I continue to get the wonderful support I've always had as I'll need all the help I can get to make Light Up Events Melbourne back to what it was.
