Congratulations Nathan & Ashleigh!
What a spectacular day for a wedding. Love this venue, with sliding doors allowing the cool breeze in, but keeping everyone cool and under cover, I think this hidden gem (with ample parking AND public transport) is one of my new favorite Sydney venues!

The building itself is beautiful, taking full advantage of the majestic established trees.

Spectacular start to our 2023 season at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Mt Tomah today.
The rain stayed away, the sun was shining, a cool gentle breeze was blowing & the styling was perfection 😅

We are a wedding styling business specialising in setting up and styling wedding ceremonies for couples all over Sydney.

We are looking for a team of two people who are currently junior florists or have a creative streak who will be able to use silk florals to style weddings on a casual basis. Most weddings are on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) with a small amount on a weekday (Fridays mainly).

Either one or both will need to have a valid NSW driver's license with excellent driving history and comfortable with driving a van.

The job will involve loading and unloading wedding props into a van (pick-up location in West Hoxton 2171), driving to and from the venue. You will need to set up and style the wedding ceremony at the venue and pack it down afterward. Typical props may include a wedding arch, folding chairs or wooden benches, tables, glassware, and floral decorations, but not limited to.

A typical timeline of events:
- Pick-up props and van at West Hoxton, 2171.
- Allow 1.5 - 2 hours travel time (depending on location)
- Arrive about 2 hours before ceremony start time to ensure ample setup time
- Unload and set up, aiming to finish at least 30 minutes before the event starts
- Return approximately 45-60 minutes later to commence pack-down, depending on booking
- Drive back to West Hoxton, 2171

You will be paid per job, which typically will take about 5-6 hours, including driving and wait time in between. A list of available bookings and the pay rate will be sent to you a couple of months prior to the event date to check for your availability and acceptance.
