Gig report : - Yesterday was a big day down at Bellarine Estate for the some sensational live music, working with Cosmic Sound, Lighting & Entertainment , a great day setting up and doing monitors for the might Screamin' Eagles and Bob 'Bongo' Starkie…. What a day and so much fun working with great people, perfect day and sensational venue.

We are thrilled to announce the next instalment of our Club Corowa Concert Series - a spectacular event aimed at making a positive impact in our community.

BIRDS OF TOKYO will take the stage on Friday March 8 supported by local rock outfit Empress & Aces

With a career spanning over two decades, Birds of Tokyo has become a household name in the Australian music scene.

Known for their powerful and emotive sound, the band has crafted a diverse discography that resonates with fans across the country. Their chart-topping hits, including "Plans," "Lanterns," and "I'd Go with You Anywhere," have not only dominated the airwaves but have also become anthems that connect with listeners on a profound level.

$10 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Black Dog Institute along with all proceeds from ‘The Fight Is Real’ merchandise available to purchase on the night.

Founded by local lad Daniel Hateley, The Fight Is Real is an initiative focused on making a difference to the stigma surrounding mental health and creating ways to start conversations that can be difficult. They are doing this by raising funds for the Black Dog Institute, spreading awareness about mental health issues and supporting those in need along the way.

Well it’s been a very busy weekend being part of festival called “Tough Tilly Day” in Echuca Victoria to raise money for Cureb (Epidermolysis Bullosa) with the Screamin Eagles, Scarecrow, Dale Rider & Tristan Ross, and Shanae Watson (from the Voice). The event was held out doors at a stunning property called Petticoota Station right on the Murry River. It was a lot of fun. I had the pleasure mixing monitors and working with Jesse Leigh Connolly on lights and Nick on FOH. All up with over 500 people at this first event it raised over $100 000 for this great cause to help find a cure for EB, what is EB you ask well go to www.cureb.org.au to know more and you can also leave donation.
Thanks again to all the people who organized this event, the bands, the staff at Petticoota Station who looked after us, a great day and great to be apart of the first of many more events here to come.

Final gig for 2024 🙂 at the rosebud country club with Totally Disco, these guys are awesome! Really good set list and doing all the big hits of the disco era!

Yesterday’s gig - working along side Cosmic Sound, Lighting & Entertainment to help make a special day go smooth for a lovely couples wedding. Doing FOH for the band was a lot of fun, and Jessie doing his magic on lights as per normal 🙂

Yesterday’s gig - I teamed up with my good friend Leighton Gates and his team from Audiomotive to help with a carols event at Whittlesea, it was a great turn out and a great day. It almost feels like Christmas now haha 🙂

Todays gig - had the pleasure of working for Ross Wilson at the Dandenong Club, Ross is a legend of the Aussie music industry, lead singer and writer for some great bands like Daddy Cool and of course Mondo Rock! It was a fantastic day and experience. Massive thanks to Rick Evans who was the promoter and the staff at the Dandenong Club for there amazing hospitality…. Great to see some old faces in the crowd too 🙂
Special shout out to Jesse Leigh Connolly Cosmic Sound, Lighting & Entertainment Trevor Addison and Wayne A Vandenberg for your help with the day loading in and out with me.

Last nights gig - Road trip to the town of Geelong where again I had the privilege to do FOH for Marcus Jackson Elvis to the Extreme for my good friends at Cosmic Sound, Lighting & Entertainment . A great night at the Sphinx Hotel, a great venue and again a great band to mix. These guys are a great band to see, big band, full sound and very true to the King of Rock.. Big shout out to Jesse Leigh Connolly for doing a stellar job on lights…the show looked amazing!

Last nights gig - Road trip to the stunning surf coast for Marcus Elvis Jackson and his great band for a private gig. Paying tribute again for Elvis the king of rock, as always a great show, a perfect blend paying respect to Elvis but still keeping it real to today, Marcus Jackson is a very polished act and you really need to get to the next gig…. These guys know how it’s done… great band great people and of course great production haha thanks again to Cosmic Sound, Lighting & Entertainment for the gig! Great job on lights Jesse Leigh Connolly

What an epic four days it's been! I want to give a MASSIVE shoutout and thank you to Trevor Addison at Cosmic Sound, Lighting & Entertainment and Roundbox events for inviting me to be a part of something incredible. The Corowa RSL Club Concert Series - The Screaming Jets was an absolute blast!
Mixing monitors for The Screaming Jets, a band I grew up with and loved for years, was a dream come true, 30 + years on they are still, if not better than ever! And let's not forget the mind-blowing performance by BLISS N ESO, who absolutely tore the roof off the venue on Saturday night!
I also want to give a special mention to the amazing support bands who rocked the stage on Friday and Saturday night, and the incredibly dedicated venue staff who made us all feel at home. It takes so much hard work and coordination to make an event like this a massive success, and it was truly an honor to play a small part in such an awesome team.
Jesse Leigh Connolly great job putting the light show together, the photos speak for them selves… it was brilliant!

Here's to more amazing collaborations and mind-blowing events in the future!

Todays gig was FOH mix for The Dirty Mac … these guys just get better and better every time I see them… 4 piece rock band with front man Paul Rosa killing it on vocals and guitar!…. Great to be apart of the day, always fun working with you guys… look forward to the next one

It’s been a busy weekend…. Last night at the Frankston RSL to a full house, a great night with Whispering Jack - Mike Vee preforming the great songs by John Farnham… A great show, a great band and the production team was awesome, lights done by Jessie from Cosmic Sound, Lighting & Entertainment and sound done by Me EVANS SOUND & PRODUCTION

Well todays gig started yesterday … a short drive to beautiful Yarrawonga to be apart of a charity fund raiser for The Royal Children’s hospital… a great event and a very worthy cause helping sick children.
Outdoor gigs are my most favorite ones to do….. except when it hails… big hail stones and rain came from no where and forced us to move indoors! …. “The show must go on” as they say, and it turned out to be a great day once we all dried out and set up! Weldon to the organizers, the band and helpers that gave up there time for free for a great cause!

Sunday gig …. Today I traveled to Ballarat for the Corvette Nationals to provide sound and production for the band… great venue to work in. The band was awesome! Mae Parker on lead vocals with Marty Rose on keys and lead vocals and Norbert Mancusi on the tubs with friends put on a stellar night of entertainment for the 300 guests. With over 250 + Corvettes on display it made the day and night memorable…. Oh and also great sound by me

A great day so many great acts and really appreciating the Jewish culture in music. Todays role was stage hand and general help…. So good to work with a great team and awesome event
