✨Meet Renee – The Creator Behind Help me Hitch✨
As we kick off 2025, it’s time to introduce to any of our new followers (or reintroduce!) the brilliant mind, dancing queen, and chaos-tamer-extraordinaire behind Help me Hitch this week: Renee!

💍What inspired you to start Help me Hitch?
“Oh, where do I even begin? Honestly, I noticed that when it comes to DIY weddings, there’s always that moment when things have the potential to spiral into chaos—centrepieces tipping over, timelines going rogue, or Aunty Linda deciding she’s now the DJ. That’s where we step in.

I started Help me Hitch because there was a real need for someone to make sure your wedding day runs as smoothly as it possibly can. We specialise in DIY weddings, working closely with couples and vendors beforehand to smooth out all the potential hiccups. Our job? Turning ‘Oh no!’ moments into ‘Oh wow!’ moments, so the couple can focus on what truly matters—getting hitched!”

🎥 Go-to Christmas Movie: “Home Alone 1 & 2, obviously. What else is there?”

🎄 Real or Fake Tree?: “Fakeeeee! I also have fake plants because, honestly, who has time to keep anything else alive? My child is the exception!”

🎁 Best Gift Ever?: “TIME. It’s so hard to find during peak wedding season. Even when Christmas rolls around, we’re still working on upcoming weddings (yes, even Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve!). But that little January break? Absolute gold.”
