I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately so I thought this would be the perfect time to reintroduce myself 🙋🏼‍♀️

✨ I’ve been a celebrant since 2018
😘 I’ve married 120+ couples
📍I live in Newport, 30 minutes north of Brisbane
🤗 I am a wife and a mum to a cheeky threenager
💍 I got married at the stunning Gabbinbar
🐶 I have a mini dachshund named Frankie (who wore a tux to our wedding)

Last week I watched Ticket to Paradise at the cinema and was so excited to spot Rainforest Gardens as one of the filming locations! Had to do a throw back to Katie and Corey’s wedding that was held there only a few months later 🥰

Ps. 90% of the excitement was because I was in the same place as George Clooney was only a few months before 🙊

Today marks three years since I was appointed to the Marriage Celebrants Program by the Attorney-General’s Department - and what a journey it has been!

130 brides and grooms across 3 states plus a global pandemic to challenge us all 🤪

There have been weddings at chapels, homesteads, farms, wineries, bars, backyards and even a ‘haunted’ gaol!

There have been secret ceremonies and surprise weddings (for the guests, not the couple!) plus I’ve had the privilege of marrying some of my closest friends 🥰

Thank you to all of my beautiful couples over the years for inviting me to take part in your special day 🤍

Throughout this pandemic I have made a conscious effort to be mindful of those who may feel strongly for or against the COVID-19 vaccination and have therefore avoided discussing my vaccination status to date.

Given Queensland Government’s latest announcement regarding weddings when the state reaches 80% vaccination rates (swipe to read the details) I felt it was necessary to assure my couples that I am fully vaxxed - therefore my attendance at your ceremony won’t impact the number of guests permitted at your wedding.
