Noisy Ritual started in 2014 when we found a concrete wine fermenter under Cam’s house. We organised half a tonne of premium shiraz grapes and invited some mates around to help us stomp them. Word spread, and over the coming weeks we guided a whole bunch of people through some low-tech urban winemaking. And everyone loved the wine. Noisy Ritual was born. We’ve now moved out of Cam’s basement, but we’re still out to demystify the winemaking process by bringing good people together over great wine, food and music to learn about, taste and create wine
in the city. Our wine embodies all we stand for. It’s made by hand in our East Brunswick winery with lots of love and plenty of help from our rowdy community of winemaking members. We hope it’s as fun to drink as it was to make.

WHAT’S GOING ON?
Every year we make a bunch of wines using grapes sourced from all over Victoria. It’s a process that started in Autumn with equal parts hard yakka and fun (and then a lot of waiting around). Now the wait is finally over, the wines are tasting great, and we’re excited to get ‘em into bottles!
Help us celebrate the end of the process as we come together with old and new friends for the Noisiest Ritual of the year.

It’s business time again at NR: Introducing FUNNY BUSINESS, our newest chilled red blend of Nero d’Avola and Chardonnay.

A French white married to an Italian red? Sounds exotic. A full bodied white and a juicy red? Sounds intense.. maybe too much?

It turns out the sum of these parts is a party in your mouth. Sure there’s plenty of breadth and texture - but that’s not a bad thing, in fact it makes this a fantastic food wine. There’s also an amazing density and complexity of fruit flavours: the peachy Chardonnay and raspberry and sweet cherry of the Nero d’Avola come together in jubey harmony. There are hints of fruit pastille and subtle tropical fruit salad vibes, with enough underlying citrus and brioche aromas to balance things out and keep it fun until the very last glass. 🍷

We love how versatile these chilled red wines are (I mean sure you could even drink them at room temperature!). But when chilled as intended they are a great wine for a cheeky glass in the sun, a charcuterie board with your mates under the shade of a coolabah tree, or a little tipple on the beach at sunset. 🌅
