Established in 2009, Baked Couture Cakes is a home-based business located in, southwest Sydney servicing Camden, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands. Specializing in wedding cakes, special occasion cakes and cupcakes, I work closely with my clients to design cakes which are both unique, and fitting to the event. Each deliciously moist and decadent cake is baked from scratch to order using only t

he finest ingredients which is reflected in the taste. After all, your cake should not only be the centrepiece of your event, but should taste as good as it looks! From design to delivery, I offer professional and courteous service and like to build a great rapport with all my clients. It is imperative that my clients feel comfortable working with me and I am more than happy to answer any queries no matter how big or small. “I was recently married in the Bowral area and Baked Couture Cakes came recommended by my wedding venue. Working with Marcelle proved to be very easy. She was very personable and professional and every interaction from the tasting box, design ideas and delivery was always very pleasant and effortless.
I provided Baked Couture Cakes with a few inspiration images and my colour scheme and left it in the capable hands of the professionals. I was not disappointed with the result as the cake looked just as I’d imagined but most importantly it tasted AMAZING! I’ve had my fair share of wedding cake, christening cake and designer kids birthday cake which always go to waste as they are so bland and rubbery.
The flavours of the Baked Couture Cake and creamy ganache were wonderful and the cake was incredibly fresh and moist. I received so many compliments from my guests on how good the wedding cake was.

I’ve just posted a Google review from our wedding with some photos of our beautiful cake, but wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for being such an amazing part of our day and for making the whole process so easy and stress-free.

When we got to the reception, the first thing I noticed was the cake. It was so beautiful, and we had so many people commenting on how delicious it was too. You’re clearly amazing at what you do and we can’t thank you enough.

Our Story

Founded in 2009 by Marcelle, Baked Couture Cakes is a Sydney-based studio, located in Picton, offering custom design, handcrafted cakes.

With a love for baking from an early age, the journey began with a humble cupcake stall at the local produce market, and over the years has evolved to a focus on wedding and special occasion cakes.

​Marcelle is self taught and believes that baking is an art form that requires experience, fine ingredients, time and attention to detail. All cakes are baked from scratch and made to order.She takes great pleasure and pride in designing and creating the cakes for couples, who then become families, celebrate their milestone occasions.

Over the years, Baked Couture Cakes been recognised with multiple awards, as well as a being featured in Vogue Brides Australia.
