I had the honour of performing the wedding ceremony for a wonderful couple today, Martin and Heidi.

The ceremony was filled with love and laughter and the quick reflexes of Matt, one of the groomsmen who saved the day as the arbour started to tip. But that didn't faze Martin and Heidi, who are the most chilled people...it will be a story they can tell for many years.

When I sit with clients, get to know them and take notes, come home, write their ceremony, email it to them and their response is:

Today I had the pleasure of marrying Eloise and Adam...what a beautiful, relaxed, warm, family and friend orientated couple they are, all of which was reflected in the ceremony with their brother and sister telling their personal story which added a special touch.

I wish them all of the love and happiness today and always.

What an absolute honour to be the celebrant for Darcy and Chelsea. I have known Darcy, my #2 bro, since he was born and couldn't have been more chuffed to share in their special day.

The Queensland weather turned it on for a picture perfect day in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Now to relax and enjoy the reception with special people.

Today, I performed a vow renewal for Chris and Hoi Tik in the same spot The Beatles stood in 1964 and then ABBA in 1977, on the balcony of Melbourne Town Hall.

What an amazing venue, and celebration of love and commitment for two Melboure CBD lovers, who were married in an intimate ceremony when covid gathering and travel restrictions were still in place. Today was their chance to declare their love in front of family and friends and most importantly loved ones who travelled from Hong Kong.

Thank you for the honour Chris and Hoi Tik, I wish you love and happiness always. ❤️

I feel terrible by my lateness of this post...but as they say, better late than never.

10 days ago, on the 5th of March, it was the lovely Ben and Laura's first anniversary. I'm sorry I didn't wish you a huge congratulations on the day beautiful people, but I truly hope your first year as a married couple has been full of wonderful things and wedded bliss.

What a beautiful wedding it was today for the stunning bride, Maddie, and the very dapper groom, Jordan.

The weather wasn't on our side, but it didn't put a dampener on the ceremony that had to be brought indoors of the stunning venue, which is Encore.

Maddie and Jordan, it was an honour to be your celebrant and to see you both overflowing with emotion. I can't thank you enough for having me be part of your very special day.

Today was the perfect day for a beautiful wedding.

I was so honoured to perform the ceremony for my cousin Bec and her partner Dale in the gorgeous surrounds of Remuse.

My husband and I were lucky to have been also invited to celebrate Bec and Dale's big day at the reception and what a fabulous celebration it was!

A second chance at love...who would have thought.

As Elton John sang, "sorry seems to be the hardest word", and sometimes, it is just the word you need to hear.

This was the case for Brian and Mary Beth as today, they were rejoined in marriage after seven years apart. To have found each other again and remarry in front of their closest family and friends, to say the least, it was so, so special to be a part of their new love story.

Today I was honoured to be the celebrant for a lovely couple, Kristy and Dylan, at the gorgeous Sandringham Yacht Club.

It was made even more special because I know the bride and her divine family from working at the club for 15 years.
•
The wind wasn’t on our side and the service had to be brought inside, but that didn't hinder the beautiful ceremony. From start to finish it was filled with laughter and tears.
