JOSH & BEA // If there's one word to summarise Josh & Bea it would be 'joy'. The joy and love these two share beams from the inside out. I think it's one of life's greatest pleasures to love and to be loved. And it's moments captured like this that echo the human heart.
Tom & Narvia are many things but one of them is living proof that your friends can be top tier matchmakers given the chance. This was many years in the making but they finally got to celebrate with everyone. Sharing many more from this day soon

Kyra & Ryan chose to have their celebration nestled into the small window of normality between 2020-2021. A stunning celebration with an intimate cohort of the nearest and dearest. A highlight for me was the fundraising raffle during the reception hosted by the amazing Allegra. Everyone bid for the few slots to dance with the bride and groom during the restrictions x

From their amazing venue being burnt down to the full might of COVID - If you believed in signs you would be questioning this union. A small taste of the amazing wedding of Ellen & Lucas from this weekend.
Josh & Bea have been near to my heart since we all first met working for a camera store 5 years ago. Shooting their wedding yesterday was a full-circle experience, having each gone off to chase our individual dreams, to bring everyone back together for such an amazing celebration of love was so special. How often do we stop to celebrate the milestones with our other half? Josh & Bea braved the cool morning air and joined me in the quiet morning streets of the city for their engagement photos.
This was the loveliest way for us to connect and get to know each other’s style and energy before their wedding and a chance to experience the easy prompts and questions that bring out the big joy and maybe even some tender moments.

From feathers in the bouquets to the rustic Sydney surrounds, it really was a picture-perfect wedding. Reminiscing on this one has been an absolute treat!
I've met many couples that think they need to get married at a rural venue in order to get beautiful photos.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sure, rural NSW offers wonderful views and vibes, but a venue in the heart of Sydney is also a stunning choice.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A good wedding photographer doesn't require breathtaking views or scenery to get the perfect shot. You should never choose a rural venue simply because it has good photo ops.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While some of my favourite weddings to shoot have been in countryside locations, there are loads of factors to consider when booking a rural venue: transport to and from, accessibility for older or disabled guests, hot and wet weather options, access to facilities in case of emergencies, accommodation expenses, travel costs for vendors. Basically, it can be *a lot* and sometimes a city wedding is easier all 'round.
If you're worried a city wedding venue won't be as "aesthetic" as a rural venue, Kyra and Ryan are here to prove you absolutely wrong.
A city wedding can spark so much creativity when it comes to on-location shoots. It's so much fun to explore back streets and sidewalks, and capture variations in light, colour and surroundings.

For a wedding photographer, is there anything more important than getting the "perfect shot"?
Actually, yeah, there is.
Think about it—even if you get the wedding gallery of your dreams, but the photos bring on stressful or awkward memories from the day, that gallery will always carry negativity.
I want you to feel nothing but joy and love looking through your pics.
That's why there's nothing more important to me than making sure you're relaxed and actually get to enjoy yourselves.
I'll never make you do awkward poses in front of the camera. And you'll never have to sacrifice being in the moment. All you'll need to "worry" about is having a great time enjoying your lover, family and friends. I'll take care of the rest.
In other words, I just want you to have a really bloody good time.
