I was so excited to meet Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause (Piper & Leo from Charmed) at Supanova over the weekend 🥰✨

While Holly was signing a photo for me, I shared how much the show influenced my journey. When Leo & Piper’s Handfasting episode first aired, I was engaged and planning my own Wedding/Handfasting ceremony. That episode sparked a love of Handfasting ceremonies that I still carry into my celebrant work today.

In a lovely full-circle moment, I was able to tell Holly that Charmed helped inspire not only the magical ceremonies I create, but even part of my business name.

Kaye’s love and legacy live on through the family she adored ~ her 4 children, 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives were touched by her warmth, strength, and generous heart.

This week I was honoured to hold sacred space for Karen with a truly beautiful memorial ceremony 🌿✨

Held at 🪷 Lotus Pavilion, Macquarie Park — a serene outdoor space surrounded by the beauty of nature — it was the perfect setting to reflect her deep connection to the earth.

In keeping with her love of nature, we gently wove pagan ritual throughout the service, creating a space that felt peaceful, grounded, and deeply sacred. Her altar was adorned with all her favourite things — each piece telling a story of who she was and what she loved. 🕷️ 🕯️ 💐🪴🦉🍃

Her voice was present through heartfelt readings from her own notebook, a beautiful photo slideshow tribute alongside the music that meant so much to her. 📕 🎥 🎶 💫

And in true Karen style, she didn’t want the day to feel heavy. Her final song request — (when translated to English) “Shake Your Bacon” — brought lightness, smiles, and a sense of joy for her farewell ✨ 🧙🏼‍♀️✨

Guests were invited to place their herbal offerings for Karen and share a fond goodbye, each step honouring her deep love of nature. Everyone was gifted a lovely keepsake bookmark in honour of Karen’s love of books 📚 🌿

Her final wish… if you see a beautiful, big tree — take a moment, give it a hug, and think of her 🌳💚💜

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Boyce 💍🥂🍾💞

Such an honour to be there as both guest and celebrant for Sarah & James — the best of both worlds!

Set against the magic of Bendooley Estate, their ceremony was a beautiful collaboration, blending love, faith, and friendship — with Rev James leading the heartfelt ceremony, and me taking care of the legals.

From the epic gelato van (yes please 🙌) to 'The Book Barn' reception filled with colour, florals, books, games, and so much laughter… it was pure joy from start to finish.

And their bridal party? Absolute legends ✨

The most beautiful day for the loveliest couple💏

🩵 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Karen, who left us peacefully in the early hours of 22nd March at Neringah Palliative Care Hospital, after a courageous 2+ year battle with cancer. 🩵

🌿 A beloved Mum, Grandma, Soul mate and friend … Karen will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 🌿

💐 A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, 7th April at 2:00pm at the Lotus Pavilion, Macquarie Park Cemetery. 💐

At Leura Memorial Gardens today, we gathered with Ngulla’s loving family and friends to honour, remember, and celebrate a proud Burra Burra / Gundungarra Man ... through music, stories, culture, and heartfelt tributes.

Ngulla was a deeply loved Dad to Solomon, Alexandra, and Samuel.
A devoted and proud Grandfather to Skyla, Abby, Boyd, Benjamin, Tommy, and Willow. And a cherished brother to Bruce, Mark, Peter, and Victoria.

Surrounded by those who knew and loved him, his life was reflected in the connections he built, the stories shared, and the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be dearly missed, and forever remembered ... living on through the memories, stories, and spirit of his family, his culture, and all whose lives he touched.

💙 Phillip James McCormack 💙
(Phill, “Blue”, Pop & Pop Pop)

Passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loving family.

Much-loved father of Brett and Kellie, father-in-law to David, and proud Pop to Joshua, Rebecca, Lucas, Oliver and Connor.

Phill also held a special place in his heart for his extended and “unofficial” adopted family — always welcoming, always making room for one more.

Phill's life was full of love, laughter, and a good dose of cheekiness — he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Now reunited with his darling wife Sue, whom he's missed dearly since her passing in August last year.

A Farewell Service will be held:
🕑 2:00 pm, Tuesday 31st March 2026
🌿 Woronora Memorial Park – South Chapel

Followed by a celebratory “Piss Up” at Padstow RSL — just as he would’ve wanted.

For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed.
