New mix! I re-recorded my radio set from Tuesday so you don't have to listen to me and Jon waffle on over the top of the tracks.

I got back into playing UK bass tunes in a big way this year - after visiting Adelaide in March to play a set on the 15th anniversary of The Bassbin on Fresh 92.7 with Kym and playing at Tiger Club at a sold out Ancient World with Johnjohn, Daria, Jon and Angela I returned to Cairns with the DJ bug again and started a weekly radio show Wheel Up on new community station Rhythm FM with Jon Robinson coming on board as co-host and featuring sets from similarly-minded selectors Reuben, Imogen, Carleton Vaux and Jeremiah.

This is a recap of just some of my favourite 2023 UK garage, dubstep and bass releases that have featured on Wheel Up, as well as some Christmas cuts from DJ Q and D Double E.

Got a few guest DJs joining me on Wheel Up on Rhythm FM over the next couple of weeks.

Tonight is JSR. He’s been lurking in the studio every show so it’s about time I let him have a go on the decks. If you’ve listened to the show you would have heard me play some of his tunes. He’s making some great tunes and I’m excited to hear his debut radio DJ set.
