Virtual Augmented Gala Awards Night !

This event would usually be produced in The Events Centre at The Star, Sydney for 600+ people however, as we are all aware 2020 has not gone to plan and very quickly we worked with our family over at Cornerpoint Studios to transform the content of the event into a virtual format including augmented graphics.

The event was streamed through our clients company web page and reached a broader audience than those who usually attend the event face-to-face, which proved a great success for our client !!

Every year, International Productions and our content arm, Cornerpoint Studio donate our time to work and help raise funds for the Hills Relay for Life. This year though, with Covid-19 restrictions, the Hills Relay event was cancelled, but not all was lost as we had the privilege last weekend of producing the Live ‘Virtual Hills Relay for Life at Home’, to help raise funds for the NSW Cancer Council.

As you can see in the images, the International Productions and Cornerpoint offices then turned into a temporary, 2 studio and a control room space, to facilitate the various content input needs, such as multiple "Live Cross" video calls, content playback, PowerPoint presentations & 4 cameras.

As our industry faces unprecedented challenges and uncertainty, we are exploring the various options available to our clients including online and video messaging. Event Director, Megan Peters, was re-elected last night as the Chair of the NSW Branch of Meetings & Events Australia. 2020 will be her 7th year on Branch and 4th year as Chair.
We are proud to be part of the leading industry Association and be giving back to the events community.
Hope to see everyone at the MEA Christmas Party on November 25th!
