Announcing our next event!

We've all had many moments where music has connected with us, and connected us with others.

In our opinion, this best achieved when music is enjoyed in an intimate capacity. A small, 100 person party, focussed on the music & full of familiar faces.

This is how we like to party and this is the thinking that drove us to create both Under The Lamp and our Day Party series.

With that, we're stoked to announce our next event!

Join us on Saturday May 11th on Circus Rooftop for an intimate day party with unrestricted sound.

Rather than April 13th, our next day party will be taking place on Saturday May 11th.

Whilst we have to wait an extra month, this move has meant we’ve been able to bring on board some artists we’re really excited about and we can’t wait to share details with you!

The Sound Project will be contributing to Esoteric Festival next weekend!

In collaboration with the team behind the Moby Dicks / Lemon Tree stage, we’ve assembled 3 artists to perform at the festival. This trifecta of talent includes Denis Khassapov / DK, Vena Cava & The Regulators.

When we prepared and put forward this artist showcase as one of our options, we were delighted to find out that all 3 names were already on the booking wish list.

Denis Khassapov and Vena Cava have become part of our extended family over the years and have impressed us time and time again. Each of them behind the decks is a real pleasure to listen to and we can’t wait to dance on the grass of the Moby Dicks stage to their selections.

A big thank you to Tuli and the team behind the Moby Dicks 🫶 We’ve had amazing times at this stage and we’re delighted to be involved in this special part of the festival.

Denis Khassapov, Vena Cava and our resident duo The Regulators will all be performing on the Friday evening. We hope to see you there!

Smiles like this one from T (and just as much sweat on the dome 😅) will undoubtedly feature in The Regulators' set at Esoteric Festival in a couple of weeks!

The Regulators will be playing on the Friday at the Moby Dicks stage, their set is at 5:45pm before the festival opening ceremony.

Playing at Esoteric Festival the last few years has been a highlight for them and they're preparing something particularly special for this year. Hope to see you there.

We’re thrilled to announce that our resident duo The Regulators will be performing at Esoteric Festival in March on the Moby Dicks stage.

For some time now, the Esoteric weekend has been one of our top highlights of the year. It’s such a great festival and it means a lot to us to have The Regulators involved again.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️

Somehow the Facebook event page for our party this Saturday randomly disappeared.

We’re not sure why this glitch happened and we haven’t been able to find a solution to recover it.

We’ve now just re-created the same event page but this means we’ve lost the previous event responses.

See below for a link to the new event page and click attending to stay in the loop.

We’d also really appreciate any help in spreading the new event page so that we can recover as much of the previous exposure as possible. This just helps us make sure the people who previously responded know that the party is going ahead and have the option in their FB events.

The event is of course all going ahead as normal and we can’t wait to party with you all on Saturday!

Somehow the FB event page for our day party this weekend has randomly disappeared.

We have no idea why this has happened but we’re working on a solution.

An intimate space, with open air and good quality sound…

A Saturday day party, accessible to the city, for you to let your hair down…

It’s almost impossible to find.

Almost, but not quite…

And that’s why we’re so excited to be returning to Circus Rooftop this Saturday for our third and final event for the year.

But wait… it gets better!

Since our last event at the venue back in July, the rooftop sound system has had a full tune - making big improvements to the sound.

For us, there’s nothing quite like an intimate day party with good sound and so we’re counting down the days, getting ready to unleash this Saturday.

Announcing our first summer day party ever!

After two sold out events at Circus Bar & Nightclub Rooftop in April and July this year, we’ll be returning for the third instalment in our Day Party series on Saturday, December 2nd.

Join us in kicking off summer with another intimate rooftop day party with unrestricted sound.

The rooftop sound system has just been tuned, making big improvements that we can’t wait to enjoy.

Although our roots are in day parties looking back to 2017 and before Under The Lamp, we just realised this will be our first day party taking place in summer.

We can’t wait to party with you all in the sunshine and open air!

First listens to a snippet of a new original... Here’s footage from our previous day parties cut to the sounds of an original produced by our headhoncho @innate.melb. This is innate’s first production and this snippet gives you just a small taste of the full thing. innate played the track for the first time at @esoteric_festival last month as part of his duo @theregulatorsdj’s set. It was a great environment for its first play so we all had a blast listening! The Regulators will be performing at our upcoming day party alongside @bongani.music, @nacana__, @candigirl__ and @robinvincelet. Tickets go on sale 12pm Wednesday April 17th ⏰ Event link in bio.
