As of today remote witnessing of the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) is made permanent by Commonwealth law.

That means if we cannot physically meet - we can meet remotely (zoom, Google Meet, skype) for you to sign your notice of intention to marry.. Contact me for more information.

Not where I expected to be today but helping out a fellow Celebrant whose car broke down in our town...a quick trip up the mountain then home again... was a tad chilly

For the first time in 5 years I have a quiet winter...the traditional winter season is April to September

However for the past 3 years we have been playing catchup after covid and I have worked through the winter months.

This year in the wedding industry there is a noticeable lull in enquiries and subsequent bookings and it was suggested that in 2020 and 2021 during lockdown noone could go out to meet others...so there was a invisible big drop off for cupid during this time ...now fast forward to 2024 we are seeing those effects. With the average engagement being 3 years ..couples are not yet ready to take the next step...so it's an interesting observation but one I think holds a lot of credence.

So with that. I've completed my last booked weddings for 2023-2024.. Two very different elopements but equally wonderful...taking advantage of the special date of 24/4/24 sorry no pics just yet....

So while it is quiet im starting my new home based business

I was so excited to be one of the first to check out the new mobile chapel from Oakstone Studios Tasmania called. IDo2U. Newly built this chapel is divine without the religion.. check out my mashed up video. I couldn't wait to share this new business with you.

I am so thrilled to apart of the Award winning venue The Barn Mt Roland Carinya Farmstay & The Barn Mt Roland and will be at their open day this sunday 3rd March 2024 between 10am - 2pm.

Come along and see the barn styled in its finest... by owner Angela Glover - whether you want to consider it as a venue for your wedding or just want to take a look.

Also there will the talented Dean Weeks from Flying High Productions , Naomi from Roaming Harvest Catering will be there. the devine Almost Heaven Clydesdales will have one of the horses on site and the very clever and stylish Magical Faces and Magical Balloons and debuting under the majestic Mount Roland will be Oakstone Studios Tasmania and their new venture IDO2U mobile chapel. Flowers held their own because Found in Earth - Deloraine Floristry did such a wonderful job securing them... the smell was just divine... and decor by Saige Events looked awesome.
