SMILE! Surrounded by butterflies and wildflowers, with the biggest smiles on their faces, Jess and Ethan tied the knot. I have never seen two people bursting at the seams with so much happiness. They glowed.

Their ceremony was filled with lots of special touches. Their dog Walter bore the rings and barked along at all the right moments. I segued into the whisky ceremony with an adorable little quiz. A perfect, fun touch for a couple into games and quizzes, and a great way to give the guests an insight into their relastionship.

And being lovers of gin and whisky, we added a whisky ceremony symbolising their desire to share all life brings their way.

"This barrel marks the beginning of a new family tradition and in the years to come you will use it to celebrate milestones along your path, as you toast your journey and your life together.

As you share this whisky, so you shall share all that the future may bring.

And like good whisky, our greatest wish is that your love will only grow deeper with each passing year!"

Testimonial: Ali! What a woman. Ali was an absolute perfect match for us for our special day. Our wedding planner linked us up with Ali after I requested a family orientated, light-hearted, funny but romantic ceremony, and oh my, we got the ceremony of our dreams.

From the very first email, I knew we had found the person we wanted. Ali was professional, funny, comforting and so caring all at once. Ali made everything so easy and stress free and took the time to get to know us so that she could provide a personalized ceremony. Not only that but suggesting the idea of family vows to our baby boy and creating a keepsake box filled with memories from the day. We have so many beautiful memories from our ceremony to remember and laugh at, that is all thanks to Ali.

To our one and a million, most amazing marriage celebrant and now friend, we can not thank you enough for being a part of our special day! You went above and beyond and nothing was to big or small for you to deal with considering the stressful, emotional rollercoaster we have gone through. I would 100% recommend you to anyone who is looking for a marriage celebrant because you are the real deal and I meant it when I say you are a friend, but you are more like family!

The day we met you were so welcoming and gave us a huge hug, congratulated us on our engagement and couldn’t wait to find out more about to Jake and I. We must have been chatting for well over an hour, you were so excited to be a part of our day and it made us so excited to get married and we knew that this day was going to be special. We clicked and Jake and I knew we wanted you to be our marriage celebrant.

You really listened to what we wanted nothing to long but nothing to short and boy did you deliver.
When you rang me a few days before the wedding and suggested we had some letters from the loved ones that couldn’t be there on our special day I was so touched, it was an emotional but big high light of the ceremony. We really appreciate you offering to set up the Gopro for our loved ones to get front row seats haha!

You were well spoken, warm hearted and made everyone really feel the love on the day, ask anyone that was at that wedding, and they all said you did an amazing job. We love that you mingled with our family and friends and took the time to really get to know each one of them.

When I first spoke with Ali I instantly knew that she was the person who was meant to be our celebrant. Ali met up with us on multiple occasions before our wedding and we got to know each other effortlessly. We were both quite clueless about what it takes to put a wedding together successfully, but Ali gave us all the guidance we needed while protecting our values and priorities. Ali has an incredibly warm and genuine nature that we and all of our guests fell in love with. Our wedding was difficult to pull off because of last minute covid restrictions though Ali was able to make the best of this situation while keeping us both calm. We wanted someone who cared about our story, and someone who we could connect with. We wanted someone who would help us get over our shyness and make us feel safe and comfortable to express our feelings to each other. At our first meeting, within minutes, Ali made us feel like we were catching up with someone we’d known our whole lives. She made us feel welcome, safe and made us realise just how special our love story is. We both knew straight away that she was perfect for our special day.
Our wedding day would not have been the same without Ali. Not only did she help create a safe, relaxed atmosphere, she helped bring our love story to life. The way she went above and beyond to incorporate such intricate and intimate details about our relationship and describe our love for each other in our ceremony, made it so personal and a wedding that many of our guests said is the best they’ve ever been to. Ali made it so that everyone in the room was able to know our story and feel our love for each other. We especially loved the finishing touches and special surprises that Ali brought to our wedding, things like our personal little future goals, and our hangman game is something we will hold onto forever.

If you make the best decision of your life to have Ali as your celebrant, you need to make sure you don’t hold back. Be as open as you can with Ali and she will help make your wedding day the best day of your life. We did, and we are so thankful for the memories that Ali helped us to create. We will cherish them for the rest of our lives.

We can’t imagine our ceremony to be led by anyone other than Ali. To truly experience the special celebration that a wedding should be, you need a celebrant who will make your love story, as lame as it might be, come to life. You need to let your inhibition go, let your emotion run wild and just be in the moment. Ali helped us both come out of our shells, and feel comfortable to stand in front of our family and friends, and say how we truly feel about each other. Something that we didn’t know we could do.

We are so thankful that we got to share our special day with Ali, thank you for everything you did for us and for making our wedding day the most memorable day of our life xx.

Most important thing people should know about Ali is that when you are in her presence, she makes you feel like the most important person at that moment in time. I loved everything about our ceremony but if I had to pick one thing, it was the effortless flow of how everything ran so smoothly. Our ceremony was completely tailored to our needs by Ali, she is so easy to work with and very approachable. She made us feel comfortable from the first conversation which is so important when planning a destination wedding. She made the ceremony very lively and engaged the guests beautifully. We felt truly in the zone and in our own love bubble thanks to such a beautiful delivery by her. I also loved that she captured the essence of our relationship and elaborated it like a story. We trusted her and just left everything in her hands while we relaxed into the day and she definitely exceeded our expectations. Ali thank you for everything! Not just for such a fun, heartfelt and relaxed ceremony on the day, but for all that you did in the months leading up to our wedding. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, you instantly put us at ease, despite our stress of organising a wedding from another city in the middle of a pandemic!
You simply radiate warmth, love and experience, and while we were initially determined to just have a short ceremony and get to the party, you gently guided us over the months to ensure our ceremony whole-heartedly celebrated us. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know our daughter too and for putting her at ease before and after the ceremony. And while we haven’t watched it yet, it will be amazing to see your birds eye GoPro footage when we can!

We really enjoying working with you in the lead up to the wedding. We were both a bit nervous about writing vows and standing up in front of a lot of people. Ali makes you feel comfortable right from the get-go. On the phone and in person, she has a calming nature and eases all your worries. Ali was able to give industry tips and tricks as to how to make our wedding day run smoothly, with the reminder that whatever happens on the day will happen and to just enjoy every moment- this was lovely to be reminded of in the last couple weeks before the wedding. Ali is a wonderful celebrant who is there to help and guide you every step of the way. Her calm, passionate and happy vibes made us feel so relaxed and at ease during the ceremony, and her special touches show how much she truly cares about her couples! We travelled interstate to Cairns for our wedding, and over the months of planning she was always easy to get in touch with. She brought great ideas to the table when Covid saw us having to change our plans numerous times. Ali isn’t just a celebrant, but someone you can completely open up to and feel truly at ease with. As soon as we met you Ali, we knew you are THE ONE! You were like a good old friend who just filled with those amazing ideas and plan for our wedding ceremony. When you went through the ceremony like you are on top of everything, we just feel very reassured.

You were also very thoughtful to Htun's far away family from Burma with the greeting video ideas. We love that you tried to get to know with not only us but with all of our friends and family and made the most wonderful personalised wedding ceremony. Truly, you made every second of our ceremony to be very joyous, memorable and special with the mixture of your calming and jolly vibe which made us less anxious and more enjoyed the special moment. Everyone attended our ceremony said that you are remarkable and brilliant. More importantly, you came up with that scavenger hunt surprise in our wedding that reminded me of Htun's proposal to me again. How amazing and lovingly you are!

Most of our honeymoon days involved with reminiscing our joyful remarkable wedding day which we thought of you a lot and how we made the best decision ever to ask you to be our celebrant. We really appreciate that you celebrated with us on both of our weddings (Western and Buddhist). Thank you for being awesome. We can't thank you enough.

We then had the pleasure of seeing Ali in action at our friends wedding & we decided to book her there & then. Ali did an amazing job creating a ceremony that was special & personalised to us. We asked for a stripped back ceremony which we got but it was still full of lots of lovely sentiment & heart. Ali was so easy to deal with during the whole process of creating our ceremony & was amazing helping to at keep things cool & calm on the day. Dearest Ali, with your gentle guidance we were able to come up with a ceremony that was simple yet beautiful, encapsulated the essence of our relationship and involved our family in such a lovely way so as to make the day memorable for everyone.
Thank you for making our wedding day so special. When I met you at the wedding expo almost two years ago, I knew you’d make our day fun, relaxed and special. You really delivered.
Your Planning Guide was so helpful in giving us ideas to make the ceremony extra special and nut out what we did and didn’t want to include. The inclusion of a personalized (and well-rehearsed) hand fasting ceremony really got our family involved and created a beautiful keepsake we will treasure forever. Our fur-baby Cookie loved her time in the spotlight as ring bearer. You built such a rapport with her and she was loving her important role in the ceremony. We would recommend you to any couple including their furry friends in the formalities.

Going into this experience we were pretty clueless about what a wedding involved we but didn’t want to make it longwinded or boring. You figured out pretty quickly we wanted a fuss-free wedding that would be meaningful to us and our closest family.

Most importantly, thank you for going above and beyond with your duties as celebrant. From adjusting the groom’s suit last minute and helping coordinate the music, to getting to know the family, pouring the Champagne/Appletiser and giving so many puppy cuddles to Cookie you really made the day flow seamlessly.

When COVID caused us to reschedule you were happy to reset your plans and when we mentioned we wanted a virtual guest you effortlessly involved her in the ceremony.

Your professional yet personal approach made everyone feel so comfortable. You made what could have been a very stressful experience, actually a really special day that we enjoyed thoroughly and will remember for the rest of our lives.

Ali you legend! Thank you thank you thank you for making our day more perfect then we could have imagined! There’s personalised ceremony’s, then there Ali ceremony’s.. you put in a massive effort to get to know us, nothing was too much trouble and made the afternoon feel so natural and stress free for us. You pulled off the ceremony we dreamed about! We wanted a light hearted and fun day and you had everyone laughing and crying the whole way through.. your ceremony set the mood for the evening.. and we loved seeing all our friends and family have such a great time. After the first time we sat down together to talk wedding talk we both knew we had to have you steer the ship for our day! We always felt like we were talking with a friend and this feeling continued each time we met.. so much so that many of our wedding guests thought you were an old friend of ours! The wedding planner you provided us with awesome! It was easy for us to fill out and literally had it finished over a couple of beers.. and somehow you shaped our ceremony around it!
