First Flight ✈️

It was such a privilege to capture the inaugural flight for 🎥

Instead of what would be a 3 day trip with an overnight stay for this family, this flight aims to cut down the time to just a 90 minute flight, returning the family back home on the same day.

We spent the day shooting a video to show Frankie and his dad arriving in Perth from Lake Grace, attending Frankie’s appointments at PCH, and sending them back off that afternoon.

The video was created for the purpose of sharing this story in order to get funding to continue to run this service and help more and more people.

Burgers v social media

1. Start with your key messaging, your bun per say. It’s going to encapsulate the whole post/burger so it needs to be strong.

2. There are a variety of different flavours to choose from. Are you going for an infographic? A meme? A sales pitch? People get bored of the same thing so remember to switch it up.

3. Quality over quantity. One mouthwatering burger will always create more impact than a dozen mediocre sliders. Add value to the lives of your audience.

4. Storytelling is the sauce that interweaves its way through the burger. It makes sure the post isn’t dry and boring! Share an anecdote, some behind the scenes, and humanise your brand.

5. Remember to enjoy it. Creating content for social media can seem like just another task on top of all of the others when you’re a business owner. If you don’t enjoy it, well then get in touch!! 🍔🍔🍔

6 learnings for the first 6 months of this year:

1. Every task doesn’t need to always be 100%. It’s better to get it done to 90% and then continue to get through the to-do list.
2. Walking is sooo underrated! Get up from your desk and walk more!!
3. Be grateful for just 3 things in your day, it’ll change your mindset.
4. Running a business isn’t easy, but it sure is one of the most rewarding jobs out there.
5. Switching up your environment is so simple but incredibly powerful.
6. Travel may be one of the greatest things you can spend your money on.

Getting to photograph new state-of-the-art facilities in the first few weeks of opening is one of our favourite types of shoots 🤩

We were so excited to visit the new .inglewood practice and capture some fresh website content for them.

The technology at the clinic is truly unmatched and it was so lovely to meet the whole team!

Deciding on the location of your branding photoshoot can have a great impact on how comfortable you feel and in turn, the outcome of the photos.

The question we always ask our clients when thinking about this is “where would my clients/customers usually find me?”

So for example, if you’re an accountant, your clients are likely to find you in an office setting (and probably your own office). Or, if you’re an electrician, you’re likely to be found at a customers place (office or home).

The main reason for looking at it this way is that you’ll be most comfortable in these locations and they’ll also make sense in terms of telling your story within your occupation for your photoshoot.
