Hi! I’m Beck and I’m a lover of love, official marriage maker and party starter! I’m all about relaxed, unique and fun ceremonies!

I've been hitching lovers all across Victoria, Australia and even in NZ and Canada for over 5 years. I'm a party starter, lover of love and official marriage maker. I've got a fresh attitude to weddings, a super personable approach and will create a unique and authentic ceremony with that perfect balance between fun and having all the feels. It is my mission to really connect with my couples which

helps me to create very personalised ceremonies which you and your guests will love. I want you to look back on your wedding day and feel that your ceremony was authentically you, and the best part of your day! I'm a Mum of two boys and one furbaby, all very mischievous, especially the furry one named Jasper. I enjoy wine, of any colour and love a good espresso martini. I'm a reality TV ju**ie, especially love and wedding related and get hooked on the British crime dramas on Netflix/Stan. I was born in New Zealand and grew up in Canada with a Scottish Mother and Kiwi Father. Being so multicultural has given me a passion for travel and culture. Before becoming a Celebrant, I spent many years working in the Travel and Tourism industry and have been lucky enough to explore 48 countries on 6 Continents (Antarctica is still a dream!). Managing other peoples' adventures and holidays has made me a highly organised person with great attention to detail

I'd love to kick off your wedding and help to set the vibe for the whole day. This is most likely the biggest celebration of your life, so let's fill it with love and so much laughter!!

PLAN B - doesn’t have to just be for wet weather. As the warmer weather hits (how great was Saturday?!), please know what your plan b is for a hot, sunny day. Chelsea and Rylan’s wedding day was HOT, and although they were disappointed not to have their ceremony where they originally planned, they put their guest’s comfort first and enacted their plan b. They knew the forecast and had enough time to ensure their plan b location would look amazing and they even had giant fans set up and plenty of water on hand. Their guests and vendors were sooooo grateful (am I right ?!)

I heard of a few guests and even a bridesmaid who fainted on Saturday due to the heat and couples pushing ahead with ceremonies in direct sunlight. Luckily I’ve only had 1 person faint at a wedding and it was a groomsman who spent part of the ceremony rehydrating at the signing table. Plan b isn’t just for comfort, it’s a safety issue.

Please, please be like Chelsea & Rylan, plan your plan b ahead of time.

THIS IS SHAUN - I first met Shaun and his beautiful girlfriend Carly a few years ago on a rooftop at a Southbank restaurant. They were enjoying a romantic evening with a cheese plate and some wine when their fancy date was crashed by our very busy, loud and noisy boys as we were seated next to them. We apologised to them and felt bad but what happened next was Shaun began talking to our boys and before we knew it Shaun and Hudson were fast friends hahaha! I had mentioned I was a celebrant and when I left, I cheekily told them my Instagram handle and told them to get in touch if they needed a celebrant someday! They both followed me that night!

Fast forward a couple of years and I got an Instagram message from Carly asking if I remembered them (of course I did!), and telling me they got engaged and wanted me to marry them! So I did, and it was epic!

Fast forward again and Shaun contacted me to tell me he wanted to become a celebrant! We’d been in touch throughout his studies and in mid July his registration came through! He is going to be an amazing celebrant! He has his first wedding this Saturday, and I’m so excited for him! Go and give him a follow

❤️LOVE LETTER❤️ - “If you’re on the hunt for a wedding celebrant look no further than Beck! She created the most magical ceremony for my husband and I, taking the time to get to know us and tailoring the ceremony to feel like us. She took the time to explain the marriage process, answered all our questions and had prompt communication from the day we enquired all the way though to the day she lodged our wedding certificate. Wedding season 2024-2025 is well and truly here! I kicked it off at one of my faves, in the Ca****la where I married Cam + Mel ❤️ I’m busy surviving school holidays, writing ceremonies for couples getting married in October, November, and December and I’ve started NOIM and planning meetings with 2025 couples. I’ve also started Xmas shopping 🎅🤪 Thanks to for snapping this pic of me x

I’VE GOT YOUR BACK! - Those who are wearing new suits, the little open or slit in the back of your jacket is called a vent. History lesson - Vents originated as a way for military men on horseback to ride comfortably. Thanks to the vent, they could part the back of their jackets and let them rest on the saddle. The vent prevents you from feeling constricted while you’re sitting. It also prevents the jacket fabric from bunching and wrinkling.

Today, when buying a suit jacket the vents are stitched closed, usually in an X stitch. The stitches help to secure the fabric so it doesn’t get bent out of shape while in the stores. Now, most of you won’t be riding a horse at a wedding, but you might be cutting some shapes on the D floor and that jacket was designed for the vent to be open, it moves a lot better. So snip away, free your vents!

If you forget, don’t worry, I come with scissors and I will always check your backsides before the ceremony starts. It’s a highlight of my job 🙊

JIMMY + GERI - I had the BEST time marrying Jimmy and Geri in March! Their relaxed and calm vibes set the stage for the perfect day. They went with the flow, even when their adorable pups Beau and Levi dug their heels in just as the music started and refused to walk down the aisle! Thankfully we had live music by who rolled with it and kept playing through it all 😅 They needed a bit of a lift from Geri's brothers to make their grand entrance 🐾 and they eventually made it to Jimmy for pats and kisses.

I absolutely adore these two and I can't wait to share more of their epic wedding ❤️

❤️LOVE LETTER❤️ - "I couldn't recommend Beck highly enough; she was so helpful from the beginning of our wedding planning journey, right through until a few days beforehand, where some last minute changes needed to be made, but nothing was too hard or stressful for her. Beck made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, put together an epic love story for us, and was so willing to help with answering absolutely any questions we had throughout the ceremony planning process. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, and I truly don't think our wedding would have been the same without her as part of it."

OUT OF OFFICE (again ❤️) - After our incredible trip to Canada and about 38 hours at home I’ve returned to Melbourne airport and I’m waiting for a flight to take me back to paradise 🌴. This time I’ve left my computer (and family) at home as I head to Bali for another .work.wives .wives retreat at I will be immersing myself in yoga, sound bowl healing, spa visits, lounging by the pool, and enjoying the beautiful, nourishing farm to table food. Most importantly though I’m looking forward to enhancing connections, making some new ones and taking some time for me. All to help me come back rested, refreshed and reenergised ahead of the 2024/2025 wedding season ❤️

LITTLE PEOPLE - Mercia and Daniel knew they wanted their kids involved in the ceremony and they nearly stole the show! Their eldest son came forward with the rings when it was time to exchange them and then pronounced them as “husband and wife”! Their gorgeous twins then said “Daddy kiss Mummy” ❤️ it was the absolute cutest!

LAURA + LACHY - Laura had decided she’d had enough of dating apps and had decided she was going to delete them all for good! She went to bed, with the intention to delete them the following morning. However, when she woke the next morning, she noticed she had matched with Lachy ❤️ Laura’s profile said, “the way to win me over is with a coffee and a croissant”, so Lachy’s opening line to her was that he knew a good place to get a croissant. After 2 weeks of chatting they met at the cafe with the epic croissants 🥐 and hit it off straight away. They learned a lot about each other and they also learned that croissants aren’t exactly the best first date food; they both tried to eat them as delicately as possible 😂

❤️LOVE LETTER❤️ - “In one sentence Beck is amazing! She will make your day very special. My husband (Woo!) and I found Beck online and from day 1 she was able help us craft the ceremony that suited us- Both of us are at times a little indecisive but she was even able to work with us :), Beck is very caring, kind, patient and took the time to hear our story and get to know us as a couple. She built a “couples questionnaire” and built a beautiful meeting story for our ceremony which made our hearts flutter. She was happy to incorporate our traditions (Maori/NZ customs). Beck provides guidance on the “compulsory”, the “variable” and has info on how to add special touches (eg how to include mothers/ Choose signatories/games etc). Beck would set tasks/goals over the months leading up to the big day and Skyped us close to the day also. If you’re looking for a celebrant with heart but also flexible and modern then Beck is what you’re after!”

RYLAN + CHELSEA - What a day!!! These two had their wedding at it was hot 🔥 but they were prepared with a plan b location in the shade (and it was stunning!), bottles of cold water and fans for their guests. They kept their love story part of the ceremony as a surprise and I LOVED seeing their reactions as they heard me share it with their loved ones ❤️ After their vows they sealed their vow cards in a wine box with a bottle of The Gurdies Pinot noir and on their 1st anniversary they will open the box, reread their vows and enjoy the wine 🍷

2024 ENQUIRIES are off with a bang!! I’m loving meeting so many new couples and this year is looking amazing!! WAS IT SOMETHING I SAID?! 😂 It might have been when I mentioned that James’ twin bother fancied himself as an above-average wingman or that James had discovered that when he sent his best rig pics to Laura, they had actually gone to someone else 🤣 This story was so so good ❤️
