Warm nutritious foods are introduced to help the body’s recovery. Katlu is a Gujarati post partum snack that’s made with 32 different herbs as well as whole wheat, edible gum, ginger powder, fenugreek powder, almonds, jaggery and ghee. A Tastebud Tantalizing Journey

I am a Malaysian-Indian now living in Australia and I’m a vegetarian. My Indian heritage gave me the opportunity to experiment with amazing spices and my upbringing allowed me to experiment with many exotic herbs and flavours from the melting pot of different cultures that is Malaysia. There has long been a misconception that vegetarian food is bland and tasteless. However, I have changed the many minds of people who’ve sworn that they would never eat meat if they could eat food packed with so much flavour. Coming from a multicultural background, my cooking and recipes have been influenced by food from all over the world. This page is dedicated to sharing my culinary journey and passion for making delicious foods. I hope you will enjoy these flavourful recipes and learning experiences on your road from home-cook to gourmet chef.
