🌞🌞And that is a wrap on Mundi Mundi Bash 🌞🌞

We would like or thank all the patrons who came and supported Thom & Ann's over the festival. Your feedback is wonderful and something we treasure.

Whilst no food consumed records were broken, we still hand cut and twice cooked over a Tonne of potato and over 15 crates of milk were used for coffee to name a few items.

This is a massive effort by our team who worked around the clock to make it all happen and we thank them!!!!

⭐Bettina on the till smiling everyday and ensuring all the nuances were relayed with ease.
⭐Peta not only learnt how to make coffee but is now a pro.
⭐ Ross and Evan working on the fryers from Sunrise to well past Sunset
⭐ And to Scott and Fi for making the burgers, salads and ensuring all the other aspects flowed as smoothly as possible.

We didn't do crew profiles as all the crew members have been on previous trips.

We would like to do a shout out to each of them, as without their expertise we would not have been able to pull off a great festival.

Ross, Scott's Dad for driving the Ram with the staff accommodation and for working the deep fryers as well as assisting with camp set up.

Bettina, Scott's Aunty, for taking leave and coming out on a fractured foot to do the till for us and greet every customer with a smile.

Scott, for driving the prime mover with the B double. I have a HR licence but I have a new appreciation for all MC truck drivers. Also for being an AMAZING chef, so talented and able to create many items from pantry items. Scott is also generator maintenance and general jack of all trades.

Thomas, he has grown with the business and is now 14, he has perfected coffee and working the deep fryers. He has decided customer service isn't for him but we are so proud that he has given it a go over the years and can still be professional even though it isn't his favourite job.

Annabelle, you are an absolute champion, you turned 12 the day we left and didn't bat an eyelid with the 2:30am wake up call. You are determined to save for your first car and happy to put in the hours to get to your goals. Calling orders and stepping up to the plate to make coffees in the quieter times.

And Fi, the floater between coffee and cooking on the grill.

We definitely are family on a road trip from this one.

Wow, what a festival!!!!!

The last few days have flown by in the blink of an eye.

Thank you to all the patrons who supported us, your feedback and well wishes shock us everytime.

It was great to catch up with people who follow us and the Outback Festival circuit and have a Yarn.

Today we were first responders with another truck just outside of Foxtrap Roadhouse Cooladdi to a land cruiser who had a head on collision with a bull. It was our turn to help out a local.

The family, had gone with another passing motorist to Charleville to receive medical treatment, leaving one member behind (least injured) to manage the scene. All air bags deployed and the whole bonnet was dislodged. It was a horrific scene.

Us and the other truck assisted where possible, directed traffic etc, until the farmer arrived, followed by police.

The farmer skull dragged the bull off the highway and then the land cruiser. The last occupant of the vehicle was attended to by the ambulance and then headed with them to Charleville to meet up with the family. As the highway was opened back up we were informed by the ambulance driver that all occupants were stable.

We are so glad everyone is safe, having the medical treatment they need and hope the family has a safe and speedy recovery.

Hug everyone a little tighter. ❤️

And we are off to the Big Red Bash for the John Williamson Sunset concert on the 8th and 9th of July.

Today we got to the Foxtrap Roadhouse Cooladdi and were met with amazing hospitality as always, a full year between visits and Jo knew who we were. Thanks for the catch up and great to see the improvements, the paint work looks amazing. Supporting the little guys as we head around the country is important to us.
