For the first time EVER we have been able to bring The One to an event in Logan!!!!!!

Yes you heard correctly The big Semi Trailer will be at🔥🔥🔥 Flame Fest on Saturday. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

We will be down with the FREE rides for the kids, be sure to pop on down and grab some great favorites from our restaurant days and more.

This one will be a bit different in that we are on GRASS and NOT red dirt. 😆😆☺️☺️

This time to Quilpie for the Agricultural Show and Rodeo.

Tonight the team conveniently made it to the ie the local pub!!!!!

But good to see the team supporting the small businesses along the way.

Scotty said the logo is definitely glowing tonight with the lights of the pub. Thanks to Drew's Sign It Pty Ltd for the reflective sign, it sure stands out.

Tonight we catered a very special 50th birthday celebration at King's Logan Village for Karen Glass.

Karen first came into our restaurant nearly 10 years ago, her smile, kindness, willing to lend an ear, and her genuine interest in how everything is going is admirable and so when we got the call to cater the very special occasion we were very privileged and honoured.

It was a beautiful dinner, with loving memories shared, here are a few pics of the entrees and mains served.

We hope you had as much fun as we had catering.

💥💥💥AND WE ARE ALL HOME!!!!!!!! 💥💥💥

A MASSIVE thanks to Darren the awesome mechanic that came out at Goondiwindi and Luke from Group Pty Ltd who spoke with each other and started eliminating things. Luke, Tony and the team do all the work on the truck and they are amazing!!! Located on Johnson Rd Browns plains.

Worked it down to a fuel issue resulting in the fuel filters having an early change, they were changed at the last serviced, but must have picked something up.

Can definitely say, Fi and the whole team are relieved to have everyone back at the depot.

This one is for outback truckers for sure 😂😂😆

And... We are home!!!!!! Back in the depot.

Well.... One of us is.

This time round we had truck issues there and back.

The little pantec over heated going up the gap and we were parked at the side of the road for a few hours to let it cool down and reassess. Then Shawny and Lisa came to the rescue with Ross's ( well Wendy's😂😂) Red Ram and we had 3 vehicles. Dan thought the little truck was stuffed and would never go again!!!!!

He didn't have faith because, it MADE IT ALL TO WAY TO THE BASH!!!! Yah!!!! It just didn't like towing the caravan over the Gap.

All good we got out there and did an awesome festival, then it was time to go home!!! Yay!!!

The only truck to start was THE PANTEC (yes the one that over heated on the way out there)

The RAM had a flat battery, easy fixed with the battery charger, and the semi started with 'Start ya Bastard' yes not the best for it but you do what you gotta do.

Got it all the way to Goondiwindi and the semi was breaking down. Not good at all, rang a few mechanics and were told not to drive it. GREAT, NOT!!!

So then we had a party truck!!!! As everyone got their stuff from the caravan and did the last little leg in the pantec. Whilst Ross and the Ram waited with Scotty and the semi.

Let's hope it is an easy fix and they can come home soon.

And the crew are off to the Tatts Finke Desert Race We will hear more about this crew as they move along. We wish them a safe trip, filled with laughter and fun mixed with a bit of hard work.

And just like that 'The One's is off again on another outing!!!! We are on our way to Gatton for a horse event at the Gatton Show Society It was a bit touch and go getting it out with the rain in the last week, can you tell by the tyres? Fi is a little nervous and upset as she is not coming on this adventure as Thom and Ann are at school as well as other commitments happening. Fi will be staying behind to do some coffee events later in the week. She said we have to behave, so we will see how that goes 😉🤔😆 Have a great Sunday and we will keep you posted.

Thom & Ann's has been a little quiet on our socials as we have been working really hard behind the scenes to get our next adventure off the ground. Yes we are changing up the business yet again, check out our short video for a sneak peak and more posts to follow.

The fun we have on weekends.

Having a free weekend means that projects get worked on and progress is made. What this space for our next installment.

We have a NEW HOME!!!!!! Thom and Ann's now has a new home for all our vans and catering items. Don't worry we are still in Jimboomba. We may be quite for a few days whilst we move everything in, there is a fair bit when you add up coldrooms, coffee vans, food vans, trucks, shipping containers, old restaurant furniture, the list goes on. We would like the thank our old landlord, for allowing us to use your property and hope you enjoy having the extra space back. 😊 For those who have messaged, emailed or called, we will try to get back to you today.

And we are off to the Big Red Bash 2022. We will keep everyone posted on our travels and adventures. #thomandanns #catering #events

Last night we catered the social dinner at Living Gems Caboolture. They kindly present Scott with a birthday card (birthday was on Friday) and sang him Happy Birthday. You can tell he prefers back of house rather than front of house right!!!!! #catering #Community #smallbusiness

And the winner is Myhealth South East Skin & Medical for our Easter Hamper. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers and staff a happy and safe Easter. Remember that we are open Saturday from 2pm to 8pm.

Another jam packed week with Corporate Christmas parties and community events. Friday we will be at the Goodstart Early Learning Flagstone Twilight Market with our coffee and slushy van. Saturday we will be getting active at F45 Training Jimboomba with our coffee van in the morning Sunday we will be at the Tamborine Mountain State School Markets with our coffee and slushy van. If you are looking for a place to hold your Christmas party we still have a few dates free, we can also cater off site as well.
