As a celebrant, we love referrals - not repeat customers. I LOVE it when someone says, "I saw you at a wedding, will you do ours?" I've ran into one previous couple at a wedding but never four! And they are all special for different reasons. Andy and Shannon were one of my first and coolest couples. There was the wildest weather ever at Erin and Wayne's wedding with the wind nearly blowing us over and the lightning flashing behind us. Bethany and Joel were one of the only weddings that I did right after having my son and in between covid lockdowns. Sandra and Daniel were pregnant when I married them two years ago and are now expecting another! And the wedding that brought them all together? The fun and fabulous Matt and Kate who will go down in my memory as the hottest couple ever, with the temp topping 39deg in the shade. I couldn't imagine a better way to finish my weddings for 2024 as I go on extended medical leave. This was my 98th wedding and I remember every one of those 196 people. To each and every one of you - love you lots. I hope to see you again in the future! ❤️❤️❤️

If you tell me that you love something, expect it to be reflected in your ceremony! Mel and Shaun love a bit of Disney so even though their ceremony was short and sweet, I brought out the sparkly ears for the signing. Congratulations, you guys!!

When your couple is as fun as these two, there is lots of laughter! Answering "Hell yeah!", including their parents and kids in the ceremony and sharing fun and sweet stories - this wedding had it all. It was also the first time that I visited but I'm sure there will be many more visits in the future. Go check it out, Westies! Congratulations, Sarah and Michael! Thanks for the laughter and love. ❤️

It was such a crazy holiday season that I'm behind with posting about some of my weddings at the end of 2023. I hadn't met Asini in person before and when she called me as I approached the venue, a little worried that she wouldn't be able to find me, I said "I'm the blonde in the brightest dress ever". Immediately, she said - "Ah, I see you!". 🤣🤣 I'm not a big person but I tend to leave a big impression, in my fashion choices if nothing else. I would have found Asini anywhere as well because have you ever seen a more beautiful bride? Congratulations to Dasith and Asini!

They wanted a sunset wedding on the beach but Melbourne weather had other plans so we had to move it to the deck of a docklands apartment. Even though it wasn't exactly what Mel had pictured, it was a beautiful and special moment and most importantly - they are married!!! I'm so happy for you guys! Congratulations ❤️

When the dress code is "white or bright" because the bride is wearing black, you know that it is going to be a truly unique wedding! I love it when everyone just throws themselves into the celebration and it is truly reflective of the awesome couple. We certainly felt the love. There was lots of applause and cheering, family via video link in Brazil, tears of joy, hugs and laughter. I'm sure that the evening ROCKED. Congratulations, Meghan and Marcelo - yours is a wedding that I'll remember forever. And not just because we now share a wedding anniversary! (Happy anniversary to my husband too....😉).

Make sure you aren't in the shade so that the photo isn't too dark. Let the sun shine on your face. Yup yup - good advice. Except when the sun is going down and shining right into your eyes! In fairness, Nat and Andrew look great in every photo - it is just me squinting and blinking! Sunset wedding are beautiful but logistically sometimes a challenge! We had fun never the less! Congratulations, Andrew and Natalie!
