Re-acquainting myself with wiring technique today. As florists we spend so much time learning it and yet hardly use it in our work. Granted it is very time consuming, but it's effect can turn something as common as these chrysanthemums into a beautiful bouquet. I really like the endless possibilities it gives.

I love it when a design plan works out! I was asked to create a wall installation for yesterdays wedding when I remembered seeing this idea of creating florals on a frame. A couple of visits to Op shops for the frames which I then painted and waxed to match the old world look of the venue. So pleased with how they turned out.

Preparing for upcoming wedding events. Where possible foam free mechanics are not only better for the environment but make use of prunings from my garden. The added bonus is that this structure is really easy to work with. Photos will come after next weekend of the finished product.
