Today the OTP and Summernats crew says the fondest of farewells to the very fabulous Weronika Quincy Lamb.

Weronika (Bejnar in those days) joined us in October 2013, and in the 10 years that followed she has grown to be an amazing event manager and a wonderful leader of people.

Bringing Weronika into the OTP family is one of the best decisions we have made in nearly 30 years of operations. That decision led to 10 years of joy for us, and everyone else, who has been fortunate enough to come into her orbit.

To see her meet the wonderful Matt, form her family and become mum to the beautiful Tiny was happiness overload.

As sad as we are to see Weronika go, we celebrate her taking her next steps. And those steps will be giant strides. We’ll always be her biggest cheerleaders … and the next place she lands will be lucky to have her.

Weronika Quincy Lamb is a genuine superstar, a title earned from her most enduring qualities.

Smart. Ethical. Hard working. Kind. Fun. Funny. And of course … her inimitable sass 😊

Thanks for everything Wonks. It’s been ten years well spent.

Working with the Dept of Communities and Justice NSW - safer together we have delivered our fifth Premier’s Gala Concerts at Aware Super Theatre, International Convention Centre Sydney - ICC Sydney Darling Harbour. These concerts are held in conjunction with the NSW Seniors Festival Expo to say thank you to NSW seniors for their value to the wider community.

Held as part of Seniors Week on the 2nd and 3rd of February, 36,000 seniors came to see the impressive talent on offer from Rodger Corser, Kate Cebrano, Wilson, Harrison Craig, and Prinnie Stevens. Brought together on stage with the Welcome to Country by Uncle Allen Madden, dancers from Brent Street under the direction of Cameron Mitchell, music directed by Jacob Neale and his band of session musicians, and Sweeney Interpreting providing Auslan interpreting for all shows, it was an absolute delight and brought big smiles to everyone in the audience.

We’re so happy to have been able to bring this kind of magic to over 200,000 people’s lives over the past five years. We just can’t wait to do it again! Got an event coming up? Get in touch with our team!

On this day in 1996, 25 short years ago, we opened the doors at Out There Productions.

25 years has gone in a flash. Out There Productions is not your usual event company. We’ve always been about the big occasion, in front of lots of people, generally outdoors … and more often than not, a little on the edge because we always try to do so much more than what’s expected.

Eleven years ago our lives took quite a turn as we took on the Summernats and entered the mad, maad world of the car show. Now, we’re running multiple festivals all over Australia and I love every second of it.

Millions of people have come through the doors at Out There events. Billions have watched them on TV and other platforms.

But whatever success we’ve enjoyed is thanks to the much smaller number of amazing people that we’ve been lucky to work with ... all the OTP and Summernats crew past and present, and the clients, artists, technicians and audiences who have made our events.

We picked this photo of Jessica Mauboy at the World Masters Games Opening Ceremony at ANZ Stadium because she radiates the joy that OTP events are typified by. Making people feel something is what we have always been about.

You don't need us to tell you that it has been one crazy time for our industry. But there is sunshine in the future.
