Simplified Projects is looking Event Operations and Administration Assistant to join our team to assist with all our upcoming events.

We’re looking for a friendly and high-spirited person with a passion for events! This role is a part time role which can lead to a full time position for the right person. This role would be perfect for someone studying events, or someone who is interested in working events as a career.

The role would require you to complete jobs such as:

- Replying to daily emails/ enquires
- Assisting with staff rostering/ staff emails
- Assisting with operational tasks for all events
- Leading the team at large events with up to 300 staff
- Liaising with clients/ event stakeholders
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers
- Handling budgets and invoicing
- Handing event reporting
- Food Truck management for events

This person must;

- Have a flexible schedule and you be willing to give up your weekends
- Have a car with current license
- Have a passion for events and the event industry
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where tasks, plans and ideas change constantly
- Be highly competent in utilising, learning and teaching others new technology
- Be committed to the varied demands of the role
- Possess a meticulous attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills and be well presented
- Be fully vaccinated

We have multiple events weekly but are requiring a large number of new staff for our music festivals over the NY period.

There is no set numbers or shifts you need to do, once you register you will have access to view and apply to work at any of our events we are doing.
