Foster Parents Indonesia is a small Victorian charity that our team at KCE passionately supports. This NFP is run by 6 volunteers and raises in excess of $100k each year to support the educational costs of children living in 8 Indonesian orphanages and a kinder built in a rubbish tip!
I (Chelsea) have been involved in this organisation for the past 25 years and am proud to be its current President and the gorgeous Melanie from our team is also on our committee.

The charity is holding its annual fundraiser this weekend and I’m sharing this in the hope to perhaps see some of you there. You can also purchase a virtual ticket/donation for $21.50 if you are unable to attend. Such a small amount goes such a long way. $21.50 is the cost of monthly sponsorship of a child’s education!

Auckland really turned it on for the post Meetings famil this month. A great group of industry colleagues spent a few days eating, drinking and exploring all that Auckland had to offer. Included was the awesome All Blacks experience and sailing on an ex-America’s cup yacht not to mention the compulsory ‘Titanic’ moment at the front of the boat! Thanks Ali for being the Jack to my Rose 😀

MeetingsNZ done for another year! Hosted in Rotorua for 2024, the birthplace of Māori culture and tourism in NZ. Amazing drone shows, gala dinners and fun activities like zip lining and mud pools. Team day last week was spent out at a newly refurbished winery only 45mins from Melb airport. Lots of lux touches and lovely and warm with open fires and great windows in the conference spaces allowing the winter sun in!!!

We were on the sunny Gold Coast this week looking at several apartment hotels. Not only do we work with corporates but we also contract and negotiate accommodation for a number of sporting groups and associations that travel domestically and overseas. On Wednesday, the team spent the day at Re’em Yarra Valley. This beautiful new boutique venue is only a short drive from Melbourne and features conferencing space, restaurant, private dining and onsite luxe accommodation.

What a fab week in Tropical North Queensland!
Thanks to TTNQ for the awesome experiences and accommodation. Loved Riley, Thala Beach Eco Resort and Pullman Sea Temple PD. Also visited Novotel Cairns Oasis and Fitzroy Island.
Enjoyed time at Hartley’s Croc Park and the walk at Mossman Gorge. What a fun filled jam packed few days.

We are thrilled to celebrate International Women's Day today!
Key Conference is an all female team (purely coincidental) of strong amazing women. We all have young families of 2 or 3 children and work from a home office. Sometimes the kids are screaming in the background or the dog has just chewed our fav heels, but we come to work each day with a smile and a story to share.
Our team care for one another, make each other laugh, send funny GIFS on teams throughout the day and have become great friends. We respect each other, support each other and genuinely have fun working together!

The team shared a couple of exciting days at AIME this week where we were able to catch up with industry colleagues and chat with some fab new venues!! Lots to share with our KCE clients including the these fun facts:
-18th time visiting AIME for Chels & Aimee
-12 coffees consumed on day 1
-57 business cards received
-6 overseas destinations visited
-3% phone battery remaining
-All team members closed their exercise rings

Melanie recently visited the beautiful InterContinental Hayman Island Resort. This private resort is a fantastic option for a conference or incentive group and is easily accessible from Hamilton Island by boat transfer or helicopter.
The resort offers a range of great spaces for conferencing and events in addition to exclusive private island experiences.

Chels visited Movie World and Sea World last month to check out the newest and most unique event spaces. We were given the VIP treatment and being in the parks without anyone around was so cool. Chelsea also sampled the Joker roller coaster and screamed the entire 1.4kms and lost her voice for a week. This is one of the many and varied group activities on offer at MW!!

Hot week last week on the Gold Coast but what a great venue to visit. Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove has large conference space and newly refurbished accommodation. Resort pool is lovely and Kangaroos visit every day!

We visited the gorgeous island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam a couple of weeks ago and were very impressed with the hotels and group activities.
A short 45min flight from Saigon, The Pearl Island has numerous hotels including several brands we all know and love.

Thank you Shangri-La Boracay and Shangri-La Manila for the most amazing 5 days. Manila is a bustling city with a number of great 5 star hotel brands including the lovely Shangri La. Lots of sights to see and some shopping then it was off on a quick 1 hour flight to incredible Boracay!
The island is devine…think crystal clear water and white sandy beaches lined with palm trees. Picture perfect spot. Shangri La Boracay is a fab hotel with great meeting space and rooms overlooking the ocean.
