You can hire our spits to cook the meat up yourself or we could cook it all up for you. We will then slice it up and put it in trays,and all you do is reheat it. You could hire one of our commercial grade spits and cook up a feast yourself. We can supply you charcoal and meat or you could hire our gas spits which comes with a gas bottle.
We also offer our reheat service where we cook and slice the meat, put into foil trays and all you do is reheat. We can do salads with dressings,roast vegetables,bread rolls and we can also supply cutlery,plates and napkins. Its easy and simple. With these gorgeous days we have been having,what would be better then being outside with a few friends cooking up a spit roast. You can hire 1 of our spits which come in a few sizes and you can choose between charcoal or gas. We can provide you the charcoal and a chimney to start it with. Our gas spits come with a gas bottle. We also can help with whatever meat you want to cook up with.

Hi to all of our followers on our facebook and instagram page. We have had a name change today from Noosa & Brisbane Spit Hire, to now just Brisbane Spit Hire.

Please note, anyone that currently has bookings with us are still confirmed and approved. We have just been preparing for this transition for a while now with concentrating on our Brisbane side of things.

We started this business off in Noosa as we had family there, and my wife and I are Brisbane based so we ran this side down here. Things in the background with our ASV business and growth is taking all if not most of our time. Hence why our time is limited in being able to do deliveries up and down the coast. Let alone the massive issues with logistically moving up and down the Bruce in a timely manner. We all know those issues hey!
We have scaled down the onsite catering side, to be only spit hire with all options for equipment, meat, charcoal.
For onsite catering we unfortunately don't have the time, nor the people to entrust to do it the way we run our events without us there.

We are based in South Brisbane in Victoria Point as some of you already know. However, we are currently building a brand new production facility in the Redlands Business Park. This will allow us to have some spits there for people to come and pick up and drop off also. Having a large commercial facility will assist in our growth of the spit hire side, as there are really limited options out there with good equipment. Hence why we will continue to keep our hire business going.
So you will see some changes happening through the socials and our website just got a big do-over this morning that I was working on.
Noosa Spit Hire was our baby more than 12 years ago we started this family business. We are now onto a few little 'next exciting step' and our Spit Hire option is still there, but just a little closer to our home in Brisbane to operate out of.

Not only do we provide the best quality spits for you to hire, but we do catering as well. For the budget conscious we offer a great package where we do all the preparation for you and all you do is reheat and serve.
We cook the meat off site and put in foil trays all sliced and ready to reheat. We can do salads that are all vaccum sealed,so all you do is pop into a bowl and add the dressing we provide. We can have all your plates,cutlery,sauces,bread and butter provided as well. And don't forget the gravy.

We are running a special on our spits down here in Brisbane and Noosa.
We will be hiring out spits for the month of Feb for only $100.00 bucks. Down from our normal weekend hire price of $150.00.

We can quote you charcoal, whole lamb or pigs, or b***d and rolled options of pork/lamb/beef and whole chickens.

Simply fill out the online contact form, or private message us on facebook and use a code .
We will then apply the discounted rate to your enquiry.

As you all may know, we have reduced our delviery capabilites up the Sunshine Coast simply due to the issues of traffic in getting up there from Brisbane. So we do only pick up from Tewantin. We only have limited spits up there, but we do have a heap down here in Brisbane out of Victoria Point. Or we can delivery to most suburbs that we qutoe on.

Christmas is only 1 week away and if you haven't organised anything we still have some spits available. These are available for pick up at Victoria point or contact us to see if we can deliver to your area. We have a pig or half a side of lamb available also. These would come iced down in a esky.
We have charcoal available also so no need to run around.

We are coming into the busy period of Christmas again. Our double charcoal spit, big gas spit and a couple of our single charcoal spits are still available for any weekend events, or Christmas.
Unfortunately New Years Eve events are all booked out at this stage.

Our Story

We are a family owned business that have been passionate about food our entire lives. From growing up on the Sunshine Coast as a little kid and stealing Mum's woman's day cooking books and learning how to cook at the age of 9. I developed a love to get into the food industry and become a chef starting at Sunshine Beach. Noosa was very much hospitality driven back then and I learnt off some incredible chefs and mentors during my time. I then moved overseas and lived through-out Europe where I mastered skills in Spain with asado cooking on open fires, to the South of France traditional foods. I even got to cook for some very cool musicians and did a few world tours with the Stones and a few others. I then moved back to Australia and learnt good old camp oven cooking and ultimately spits!

What our company offers is the following services:

1. Onsite Catering Options on a per head price or total cost evaluation.

2. Self-Cater Options that you can do yourself. We provide all the equipment and delivery options too.

3. Food Trailer for Festivals and Markets if you are an event planner looking to do large scale volumes.

4. Delivery and Pick Up Services so that you don’t have to worry about a thing.

5. Charcoal Supply for all the spits.

6. Meat Supply from whole to half sides, all the way through to rolled porks, lamb, beef, chickens, ribs.

7. Marination and Rubs for all your ordered meats can be done to for your event.

8. Location, we can travel to any destination so please contact us and we will be happy to review and cost.
