there’s something very special about being part of a moment, where you get to witness first hand that first look, for Cat & Corey it was relief, excitement & a few jokes to calm the nerves!

I'll never take my role as a celebrant for granted, and it's hardly what you call work when you end up becoming such good friends with your couples!

🌲 merry christmas from my family to yours...

taking some time away from the computer, mic & the pilates mat & spending some quality time with my little fam ❤️

make sure to look after one another, safe travels wherever you end up, and have the best christmas with your loved ones.

🖤 and that's a wrap...

it feels good to know that not only did I wind it down this year to a more manageable pace, but I feel as though it was one of the best years as a celebrant!

it's been 7 years since I became a marriage celebrant, and every year is slightly better.... but this year I looked after myself first, so that going into every wedding my couples received the best ceremony & the very best of me!

thank you to all 40 of my gorgeous couples who put their faith and trust in me this year, I absolutely love every single one of you!

🖤 guess who just became a qualified pilates instructor 🙋🏼‍♀️

don't ever let anyone tell you that you're incapable of learning new things as you get older!

It's funny, as a kid I was told that a woman's place was at home as a housewife, I was to get married, have children, and at church on Sundays I was to wash the communion glasses or oversee creche!

You can imagine when I left that particular religion at the age of 22, I was on a mission to learn, experience life & achieve as many things as I set my mind to!

A few things you may not know about me...

I am a qualified hairdresser & beautician, I've been a pharmacy assistant & dispensary technician, as well as a flight attendant, I've been a speed dating host, a dog walker & an events coordinator...

Now, as most of you are aware, I'm a full-time marriage celebrant & MC, and as of today, I will be teaching pilates at a local pilates studio, which I am absolutely going to love doing!

It really doesn't get any better than this!

So, having just stepped into my 40s, the learning hasn't stopped yet.. what should I study next? 🤷‍♀️

a year ago at a private property in Caulfield, Mark & Marie invited a select few of their nearest & dearest to share in what was the most beautiful wedding, with no shortage of happy tears and laughter!

I never take for granted at how fortunate I am to witness such grand love stories such as theirs, truly is an honour x

We first met Alana at my cousins wedding, when it came time for our own they strongly recommended her.

From our first chat, she was amazing!
She was able to turn our love questionnaires into an amazing story of us, and our ceremony was everything we wanted!

We were so happy to have her be a part of our special day!

Alana was a standout vendor for us at our wedding!
From meeting her to the actual big day, she always made us feel comfortable to be ourselves and was so easy to communicate with, always having everything super organized.

Alana is so warm, kind, and funny and truly takes the time to get to know her couples.

We have had so many guests tell us how much they enjoyed the ceremony and surprisingly to us it was also one of our favourite parts of the whole day!

reminiscing to this time last year, I had the privilege of marrying two of the most kind hearted and sweetest humans on the planet, and the best bit... I got to stick around and mc their party into the evening!

🖤 that one time I married a mate in Radelaide!
not going to lie, it's pretty special when you get to marry a friend, and even more special when you meet your friends' fiance & she's clearly the best, & you get along so well you forget that he's still sitting there! 😂 (sorry Brett!)

having known Brett for many years, I always knew he'd eventually find someone with a wicked sense of humour to match his, as well as someone who was as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!

thank God you found one another, and thank God the rain held out just as I announced you Mr & Mrs Connell

🖤 nine years stuck with me x

this guy right here, he's the reason....

I said yes when he dropped to one knee at Rockfeller Centre on the ice skating rink.

the reason I became a celebrant, he supported me after I dropped out of full time work to study & pursued a career that I absolutely love

he's the reason we ended up welcoming Wilbur the Doberman into our home, after I was insistent on getting a poodle

and the reason I am taking today off work and giving myself a day away from emails, as we are celebrating the hell outta this nine year anniversary!

I love ya face moo, you really are one in a million x
