there are absolutely no words to describe the life changing celebrant retreat I recently had the privilege of attending.
Sarah & Anna from .work.wives & carefully put together one of the most incredible few days, with so much time to invest in ourselves, our businesses and newly found friendships, there was surprisingly still enough time to dance fully clothed in the pool like our life depended on it!

If you are a new celebrant, or have been in the industry for years, do yourself a favour and don't walk, run without your shoes on towards the next retreat at the incredible

farewell to my thirties, you were a roller-coaster ride!

thanking myself for the choices I made, for the countries and cities I visited, for an epic engagement & even better wedding, buying our first home, & welcoming my furry best friend Wilbur, starting my own business & marrying so many incredible couples...

thank you thirties for helping me to understand the importance of being kind to myself, for finally not caring about a face full of makeup just to go the shops, mastering the best Toblerone cheesecake, & finally realising that some friendships are just for a chapter & that's okay!

💖 Mrs Galaxy Australia National Finalist 2024

It's been an amazing few months in the lead up to nationals, and whilst I'm now sitting on my couch with no more glitter, hairspray or tan in the air, I can breathe clearer knowing that this past week has taught me so much about myself!

Although this post is pageant related, it's not about me, but about the incredible people and sponsors who deserve to be thanked xx

there are a few documents that must be signed and witnessed by your celebrant before your wedding day....

so it usually makes sense to sign your declaration of no legal impediment to marry before the ceremony, and kate makes it look so easy... probably because it is!

It was such a pleasure working with Alana as our celebrant - from the moment we booked her we knew we'd made the best choice.

Her humour and enthusiasm put us as ease from the start. Her planning and detail in meeting us via zoom, then in person, then again for the rehearsal, going through all the steps for us in the lead up, made things so easy and really helped us navigate our way through to the big day.

As for the day itself, Alana really was brilliant.
We have had so many people come up to us and say how beautifully she spoke, how she captured our story so perfectly and with such a personal touch, and what a special service she created.

We cannot thank her enough for making the ceremony and our day so special, and would recommend her to any couples who are looking for a celebrant.

Alana is truly amazing.
I can say hands down if you are looking for a celebrant and MC who is going to bring a fun, charismatic, personal and professional vibe to your big day, look no further.

As a bride and groom who feel awkward about being in the spotlight and public speaking we really wanted a celebrant who was able to convey our love story in a way that was true to us and allowed us to be comfortable. Alana delivered that and more!

She really took the time to get to know us, which made such a difference throughout the ceremony as it was completely personal to our life experiences and not the typical generic wording I’ve heard a million times before at other weddings.
She takes a lot of time to make the vows unique and fun, which for us, brought a lot of ease, comfort and laughter to a quiet overwhelming and anxious moment.

The amount of people who came up to me at the wedding and commented on how brilliant our celebrant was showed just how talented Alana is.

🐾 my little love turns 3

I don't need to explain how much I love and adore my dog, it's pretty obvious for all to see...

I also don't need an excuse to spoil him rotten, but today Wilbur turns 3, so it's a big steak for dinner, plenty of presents to unwrap, a big run in the park and loads of cuddles... just like any ordinary day!

🖤 there's something so special about marrying a friend

Cat was a boss of mine in a past lifetime, she was the fashionista of all the girls at work, she had the most infectious laugh that made you laugh with her, and she'd never have a bad word to say about anyone... a rare gem as they'd say!

the one thing she did go on about at work, was this guy named Corey who was basically the coolest, most amazing and handsome man she'd ever met!

it wasn't until I met him, that I realised he was genuinely the nicest & coolest guy, he was kind and he absolutely adored Cat...
so when they asked me to marry them at I obviously said a huge YES, and I'm so glad I did!

such a gorgeous wedding, with a personally written heartfelt poem by Corey's sister, petals flying absolutely everywhere, to the many cultural cheers from Cats family & friends, nothing about their ceremony could wipe the smile off my face

thank you to you both for allowing me to be a part of your day, it was absolutely spectacular xx

I'm so very excited to have been selected as an Australia Galaxy Pageants National Finalist!
Making my way to Sydney in May to represent in the Mrs category

During the course of the pageant i'll be standing alongside to help raise awareness & prevention of mental ill-health in young adults before it develops, and to help young people with the right support if it does.
