Jill and Jimmy's wedding is one I won't forget in a while! 🩷 I knew it was going to be an absolute vibe when Jimmy asked me to read over his vows. I always say "be completely yourself and they'll be perfect". Jimmy nailed it and had everyone in hysterics (at his expense!). Jill appreciated not just his beautiful sentiments but also his little nervous jig. We've all been there!

So honoured to have married not just Jill but her sister Kate too. I love being able to share these precious milestones with families more than once.

Snapped in the moment we don’t talk about as celebrants... 🌟 Contemplation! 💫 On your wedding day I turn up at least an hour beforehand to go over my mental checklist. I have it down to a fine art to ensure I effortlessly deliver a beautiful ceremony which is totally you as a couple! To be truly present with you, I always take a moment before guests arrive to be in the space solo. Overwhelming excitement is what I usually feel first. Every time! The Meguerditchians!

Bec and Jake were both recently single, looking for just a hook up on Tinder when Bec stumbled on Jake’s profile and couldn’t look past his shoulders! They got chatting and there was solid banter. Jake invited Bec on a date saying he’d pick her up but she had to choose the restaurant. They ended up at Portside where Jake ordered a steak and Bec had pasta. She was so worried he was a gym bro when he didn’t eat the chips on his plate, but it turns out they were just cold. There was an instant connection and Bec invited Jake to stay at her place. She only just found out recently he had clothes packed in the car, just in case!

He woke up the next morning to 3 of her closest friends! It turns out Bec had planned to host breakfast. Jake thought to himself, “If this happens all the time I’m sticking around!”. He quietly cancelling another Tinder date he had planned for that night. It was obvious there was a spark between Bec and Jake.

They got married at Point Cartwright Lighthouse, a sentimental place for Bec as it’s where she spend family holidays with her late dad Ian. She looked like an absolute babe walking herself down the aisle while thinking of him.

Michelle and Reece decided on a more private moment for signing of certificates, outside with just their witnesses after such a elegant and heartfelt ceremony.

They’ve been together for 9 years after meeting when Michelle moved into the share house where Reece was living in Rochedale.

In the early days of their relationship, they’d go for long late-night drives. Michelle would be behind the wheel and Reece would be the DJ. With their favourite tunes on in the background they’d chat for hours about life and their hopes and dreams for the future. They’ve always been aligned which gave them an unspoken sense from the very beginning that this beautiful friendship would last a lifetime.

Jess & Adam weren’t suppose to be on a date when they ended up having a candlelight dinner surrounded by loved up couples.

As Jess said in her vows “The day we decided to settle a bet with a friendly game of putt putt, changed my life forever. Even though I lost and had to pay for dinner- we laughed, we shared stories and I realised in that moment that you were someone truly special.”

After meeting through touch football 9 years ago, Adam stood up front as his teammate and now breathtakingly beautiful bride walked down the aisle to say “I do” to a lifetime together.

Nellie-Grace and Kyle finally got to have the wedding of their dreams at after a few devastating setbacks.

Nellie-Grace was an absolute picture of elegance walking down the aisle solo in what was a huge moment of reflection for her.

It was ultimately their careers at Theiss that lead them to meet in a crowded room at the Plough Inn in Southbank, where they both were for networking drinks. Fast forward a year, Nellie-Grace was seconded to the same project Kyle was working on. From there a deeper friendship developed and a cheeky trip to Thailand saw this relationship blossom.

9 years later they said “I do” in front of those they love most.

Hello! 👋🏻 I haven’t ever shared a little bit about me on here so I thought it was time.

💍 I’ve been a celebrant since 2019 after having a deep knowing for close to a decade that I wanted to be part of one of the most beautiful celebrations in a couple’s journey through life together.

The gravity of trusting a celebrant to set the tone for a day to remember for a lifetime is never lost on me.

🎙️ I’ve also been a radio newsreader for the past 18 years. The skills I have are invaluable for the perfect ceremony!

🤍 I got married to Josh at in 2021 who I met at a dog park thanks to my handsome German Shepherd Arlo. He’s my soul dog. 🐾

👧 I have a 2yo daughter Hallie who was 4 months old at our wedding! Our miracle baby.

Such a dream couple! So much impromptu banter throughout the ceremony as Kathryn gave Chris a hard time at how long it took them to get married after the most unconventional start to their relationship.

This one is worth reading to the end!

Kathryn and Chris met at the former Chalk Hotel in Woolloongabba while out with friends following a Broncos game in August 2010. She remembers pointing Chris out to her friend Sandy and telling her she thought he was cute. He saw her out of the corner of his eye and knew she was up to something. In a bold move, Sandy wasted no time walking straight up to Chris to ask him for his number! Kathryn was mortified and pretended to be on her phone as she walked past him to go hide in the toilet. They never spoke that night, but of course Chris messaged later to meet up. He was already seeing someone else and unbeknown to Kathryn planned to set her up with his mate. But there was a strong mutual attraction and they decided to go on their first date.

They picked up pizza from Panchos at Bulimba and headed down to enjoy it by the river. While on that walk they came across 3 girls who looked like they were out to party. One said “Chris?!” in a shaky voice and his demeanour changed, as he realised it was the other girl he’d been seeing. After a very short conversation Chris and Kathryn continued on their walk to the water. Chris confessed to her who it was. Of course, she was devastated and quickly devoured an entire pizza vowing to never see the two timing bastard again!

It was months later, that Chris and Kathryn ran into each other on the Gold Coast. Enough time had passed that they instantly hit it off again. The rest really is history!

Flick was an absolute vision as she walked down the aisle to marry Hunter in the most elegant black tie wedding. 200 of their closest family and friends were there to celebrate. Flick and Hunter met through Flick’s twin brother Geoff. He became friends with Hunter in Year 5 and Flick always thought of Hunter as his wild mate. They didn’t have much to do with each other over the next 20 years aside from Hunter sending Flick random kiss emojis on messenger.

That was until she needed help building her Pilates studio. To repay Hunter for his hard work she offered to take him out to dinner. He jumped at the opportunity and ended up paying.

There’s no denying Hunter was all in from day one. But Felicity was always distracted by her achievements on the world stage as a champion triathlete. But once she sat down with Hunter she saw how much he cared; he made such an effort and had her best interests at heart. 💗

They’ve packed a lot into 2 years together including the birth of their beautiful girl Sienna and buying a home together. There is without a doubt more big things to come for them as Mr & Mrs Thomas!

There’s something about an intimate ceremony that really allows you to relax and be in the moment! ➡️ To see Sean and Casey getting married in front of just 16 of their closest family and friends. There was laughter and there were tears as they reminisced about meeting at a house party when they were in their teens in 2009, to chatting over MSN messenger long into the night, then working together at the Big White Ski Resort in Canada, before a failed attempt to live the corporate life in Sydney. They’ve now settled back in Brisbane where they’ve set up their successful social media strategy company. They spend 24/7 together effortlessly!

Sean and Casey have never been afraid to follow their hearts which have always been aligned. They’ve already done so much and I have a feeling there’s a lot more to come for these lovebirds.

Neither of them headed to that party thinking they’d be marrying the love of their life just a few blocks away in the not too distant future. Love. You never know where it’ll find you.

I’ve been marrying quite a few childhood sweethearts lately! I just love that even in a world that feels so big now, some couples choose to grow together through the most impressionable time of their life instead of drift apart. Of course, it takes a lot of open communication and they tell me they didn’t always get it right but it’s so worth it!

Blake and Jessica had a fairytale start to their life as husband and wife. It was truly what dreams are made of and I’m so grateful I got to stay on to MC their reception.

They met at Shalom College in Bundaberg. Blake who was in Year 11 had seen Jess who was in Year 12 around school and thought “who is that?! She’s beautiful!” But he was too shy to talk to her. They were in the same sports house and first chatted at the swimming carnival. Jess gave him her fake orange Ray Bans from Bali to hold onto when she was called to the marshalling area to race. Of course he didn’t give them back so he could add her as a friend on Facebook. They messaged that night and have spoken almost everyday since!

Shane and Melissa still think that it’s incredible they met at a bush doof of all places! Not an event either of them would usually attend but they have their mutual friend to thank for inviting them to Coffs Harbour for New Year’s Eve celebrations just over 16 years ago. It was a huge night and early the next morning while retreating to her tent, Shane who was quite the gentleman, decided to check in on Melissa to make sure she was okay. They started chatting and got along great. A few hours later, when the sun came up, Shane offered to keep Melissa company on the drive back to Brisbane. They spend the entire 4 hour drive chatting! It was obvious, they’d see each other again.

About a week later, Shane popped around to Melissa’s place after she mentioned she needed something fixed on her car. He used that as the perfect opportunity to ask Melissa on a date. She was hesitant at first, as she was interested in someone else at the time, but luckily thought she better be polite because he’d just helped her out. He took her to an Italian restaurant in New Farm. They had the best time together and she quickly forgot about the other guy!

The best thing about Shane and Melissa is they’re forever bringing out the best in one another. Their personalities might be completely opposite, but they’ve found a harmonious balance. Melissa credits Shane for forcing her to test her thrill-seeking limits, while Melissa has brought out Shane’s softer side.

It was an absolute honour to not only officiate their marriage but stay on to MC the reception where I got to know their beautiful family and friends more. I loved seeing their 2 kids on the dance floor and leave with their babysitter on a sugar high from the delicious cake.

Dan with that look of relief that he shook his nerves to get through his vows and is now married to the gorgeous Sabrina!

They met while looking for love on Tinder in 2019. Daniel’s profile picture wasn’t a stand out but there was something alluring about this teacher who had promised to give out a detention in his bio! An A+ for attempting to be creative, but a little concerning! Sabrina still swiped right and isn’t she glad she did… Dan is the most kind, caring and attentive man she’d ever met! Even delivering her hangover essentials very early on in the relationship. Of course Sabrina was going to marry him!

A much loved border collie and house later… and they’re now Mr & Mrs Kutcher. 🫶🏻

Beyond grateful is how I feel whenever I reminisce about all the wonderful wedding celebrations I’ve been invited to officiate. I never take this honour for granted. I know how important this day is for you both!

Chanel and Ricky’s wedding was every bit that fairytale you’d dream about from childhood! As I wrote their love story I felt the happiness that Noosa’s Main Beach brought these Sydneysiders! Some big life decisions had been made there and through a touching ceremony with just the right balance of emotions they came full circle! 💍 There was a champagne tower to toast the newlyweds and then a boat ride to . 🚤

This wedding was an absolute vibe! I instantly clicked with Chris & Jess when I met them at their friends Blake and Jess’s wedding 2 years prior. I followed their journey and got so excited when I saw they got engaged, hoping they’d chose me to marry them. 💗 After also marrying another 2 couples in their friendship circle and catching up with them at those weddings too, their day finally came and it was every bit the fairytale I knew it would be as I stood alongside them to make it all official at .

Of course, turned Jess’s family home at Hope Island into the most exquisite backdrop for the amazing night that I also had the pleasure of emceeing!
