Hello it’s me, Kerstyn from 💃🏼

I am currently soaking up every minute of maternity leave with our gorgeous boy, Archer, but I wanted to do a huge shoutout to the incredible team of ladies who are looking after the 28 weddings we have between now and
Christmas! 🙌🏻

My brilliant assistant Bec is leading the charge, along with our coordinator extraordinaire, Tash, and some beautiful planner/coordinator assistants who’ve taken time away from their already busy lives to look after our clients’ weddings like they’re their own 💕 I’ve never felt more filled with love and gratitude for this time in my life.

In saying this, my wonderful team are at capacity and response times are much slower than usual so I politely ask for patience 🙏🏻

We are fully booked for planning in 2025 (OMG!), but I myself am available on limited weekends to be your celebrant ♥️ So reach out ASAP if you want a funny, cool, hip / modest maker of marriages 😎

This part of the ceremony is certainly a fave!

I make my way to the middle of the couple and, if they’re not already, I ask them to hold hands so we can say the magic words… ✨

“I do”

I hand their vow cards over and move back out of the way so they can share their personal words and feelings with each other.

We laugh, we cry, we smile softly and nod as we see how much these two really do love each other 🩷

Then, I take their vow cards so their hands are free to exchange rings and finally, as I make the perfect quick exit stage left…..

I get to announce them as NEWLYWEDS!

They kiss!
We cheer and clap!
We sign legal docs!
I send them off into wedded bliss 💕

Tell me this isn’t the best job in the world 🥲🎉

Happy Friday friends! Planning on writing your vows this weekend? ✍️

Here are our top tips courtesy of Head Bestie and Marriage Celebrant (who clearly has too much fun at “work” ⬆️) 💃🏼

1. Grab a notepad/laptop/device and sit somewhere quiet without distractions
2. Think about your partner - how do you feel when you’re around them?
3. Write down the first three things that come to your head. It doesn’t have to make sense yet!
4. Think about something or things they always do for you that you love. Write them down.
5. What’s one of your favourite memories together? Write it down.
6. What are you looking forward to in your future together? Write it down.
7. Do you have any cute or funny nicknames for them? Write them down.
8. Feeling good and ? Yay!
9. Now we start formulating this into coherent sentences and tweaking as we go.

Please don’t troll the messenger…! This is definitely controversial but at our many MANY years of being there for the end of our clients’ weddings, long after the guests have all departed, there is often a pile of thoughtful favours not-so-thoughtfully left behind.
