It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing Mayers Photography will no longer be operating as a business from 2023 onwards and will not be taking any further bookings. There are many reasons for this decision to hang up the camera's, but the main factor would be to reclaim my weekends for family reasons. It has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of so many weddings and capture the best images I possibly could, for generations to come. I gave every single wedding 100% effort and although some did go better than others (like any job we do), every one was special in it's own unique way. I would like to give a heart felt thanks to every couple which trusted me with this very important job. This is one part of the business I will definitely miss. I am now looking forward to the future and having more weekend time with my family. Thank you all once again and all the very best to you all! 👍🤗

Yesterday we had an early start with a lovely morning Ceremony at Queens Park and lunch Reception at the amazing Cobb & Co Museum celebrating the marriage of Alex & Garion. These two are just a fantastic couple and had an awesome start as husband & wife! 🤗

Yesterday we were at the St Mary's Catholic Church (Ipswich) and majestic Spicers Hidden Vale for Vicki & Chris' amazing day. It was a day filled with love fun & laughter as these two lovebirds tied the knot. 🤗

When you give a member of the "Bridal Party" your camera to hold for a second ..... this is what they do! 👍🤣🤗 Yes, this photo was taken by the partner of a bridesmaid while we were shooting in Brisbane City. LATEST COVID RESTRICTIONS: For those planning a wedding soon, here are the latest Covid Restrictions to be enforced in Queensland. Basically if you, your guests and your vendors are fully vaccinated, you are in the clear, but if not, there could be issues. Please take the time to ensure ALL of your guests and vendors are Fully Vaxed before your wedding if you plan to have more than 20 people. For the record, yes, I am fully vaccinated so I am free to photograph any wedding. Please note: this is just a warning for everyone, any negative comments will be deleted as I do not have this here to start a political debate. I wish every couple planning a wedding all the very best! 👍🤗

Yesterday we had the most amazing experience capturing Naomi & Hayden's awesome day. A small thunderstorm was not going to dampen the spirits of this crowd and the fun never stopped. Gabbinbar once again proved itself to be one of the best wedding venues around and never fails to deliver. This, combined with one of the best wedding parties I have had the pleasure of working with, created a wedding we'll remember for years to come.👍🤗
