Our Story

In 2012, having juggled multiple roles, over the years prior, in hospitality and small business management outside of my home, while also being a Mum to two small kids at the time. I quickly realized that I was no longing working to my strengths and I needed something creative and home based to fill my need to be with my children at home and also bring in some additional income, to assist with the extra support my family was needing too.

Today I’m still the sole creator and designer behind everything you see from the Hanging Pretty studio, based in Redlands Coast, nestled half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, in Queensland where we ship all our pretty flowers Australia wide from.

Bringing my love of baking and event industry background to each custom designed flower or collaboration, I continue to create handmade florals that are unique and made from a mix of papers, silks and material to meet the ever changing handmade market of Australians.

Creating custom handmade prettiness for events, stylists, photographers, photo-shoots, fairs, boutiques, at home & children's rooms with a limitless range of possibilities, we are known for our custom handmade paper flowers, designer garlands, paper chandeliers & cake flowers. I love creating flowers that you can use at an event or on a cake and easily frame up after the event, to keep forever as designer art or reuse within your business for years to come.
