Firstly thanks to the yacht club for allowing us the space to hold the Sloop. Thanks to the staff for helping the day run smoothly. A special thanks to Karen, Paul and Oesty for helping with the setup and pack down. Thanks to Liam for the loan of the bass and stand, saved us an extra trip.
Thank you to everyone that came along and supported the musos.
Even though these events are personally alot of work for Michele and I, it really is so rewarding to see the community embrace these events and share in the joy that is live music. All in all it was another successful day.

Liquid Lunch will open for a couple of songs to sound check and get the show going. Then in this order, we will change over after 3 songs per performer.

A fabulous turnout for a long awaited return of The Sloop Sessions. Two performers were there for their very first time and once the nerves settled, did themselves proud. Sandi, Mark and Jacqui, Mike and Judy, Thankyou for your talent. Loved listening and watching you perform. Thankyou to Fat Crust Pizza for the amazing pizzas. Sold more than they anticipated and Thankyou to Coffin Bay Sporting Club Tania and Ann. A big Thankyou to Ken Eagle because without him, there wouldn’t be a sloop session. With minimal help from me he moves all the equipment, sets it up and mixes the sound so everyone sounds their best. Then packs it all up and puts it away. We will certainly host another sloop in the new year. Thankyou to everyone who attended.

So tomorrow at the Coffin Bay Sporting Club we are holding a Sloop Session from 4pm. The bar will be open and the crew from Fat Crust Pizza will have divine pizzas available for purchase. We will have some great performers tomorrow. I'll keep this all a surprise but come along, encourage and support new musicians, seasoned musicians, and generally just have a great time, be merry and socialise in this gorgeous venue.

Ahem, (clearing throat as it’s been a long while)
The Sloop Sessions are about to resume.
The venue for this session will be Coffin Bay Sporting Club on Saturday 10th December starting around 4pm (we like to keep it casual here in Coffin Bay).
Fat Crust Pizza will be firing up the van serving delicious pizzas.
The concept of this session has always been to showcase new talent, provide an opportunity for those that have not ventured out of their lounge room (and want to) or collaborations of people who get together to share their love of music and haven’t had the chance to perform in front of an audience. If you have one song, or 20 mins of songs I’d love to hear from you.
