SO HOW DOES BOOKING WITH AN ENTERTAINMENT COLLECTIVE WORK? ✨ Entertainment helps set the tone of your whole event so we get it, you want to make sure the vibe is right! Read on for answers to some of our most commonly asked questions…

Q. Who are your artists?
A. When you book with us, you’re gaining access to some of Australia’s most talented + experienced live musicians + DJs . Our team is tight-knit so we can personally vouch for each + every one of them. We’d book them for our own event so you know we trust them whole heartedly to do the best job at yours!

Q. Can we pick our artist/s?
A. You might have seen one of our team in action at another event or simply like their vibe from content you’ve seen here on our socials. In any case, you’re welcome to let us know if there’s an artist you particularly enjoy + we will do our best to ensure they are available for your event. If your preferred artist is unavailable, we will suggest another of our talented team who will suit the vibe you’re going for!

Q. What happens if our artist is unwell or unable to perform on the day?
A. Our artists are human, which means that occasionally things do come up where they’re unable to perform on the day. It’s rare, but it happens. Our artists have performed with each other in many combinations over many years, giving them the ability to sub in for each other at a moments notice + our online platform makes sharing music briefs simple. We’ll let you or your emergency contact know if this is the case, so you’ll never be left in the lurch.

Q. Can we pick our playlist? Can they learn specific songs?
A. The short answer is YES - our playlists are tailored to you. You know what music you + your guests will get around so we take your lead. Whether you want to give us a couple of songs + leave the rest to us or you want to give us a full playlist, our team will use their expertise to read the crowd on the day + know when to play what!

Q. Can we check out the artists IRL?
A. Our artists perform regularly at venues around Australia. Check out our monthly social posts for who’s playing where.

OH HI THERE! ✨ We’ve had an influx of new followers of late so I thought it time to pop my face up on the feed again + say hello! I’m Dani, creator + director here at LOGAN HQ - born + bred in Melbourne, Australia from the cultural abundance that is a big Italian family [aka the people who taught me that connection + celebration is EVERYTHING] + this pic is me snapped in my most intense-face-hunchback-mode because you know what? Decor placement is THAT important to me!

Coming from an entertainment background [vocalist + DJ here 👋🏼] I cut my teeth performing at pub gigs, clubs + parties which naturally flowed into the “do you do weddings?” space about 15 years ago. I tried it, I loved it - so .ent was born. Working week in + week out at events from a vendor perspective gave me a unique insight [I believe] into various facets of what makes a celebration go from great to absolute magic + my simultaneously Type-A “I love a good spreadsheet” + Type-B creative brain knew I’d found my calling in planning + styling. And so, .events was born, my mum Maria came on board [work with us + you’ll get to know her happy face too] + here we are!

Above everything, I love people. I love finding out what makes you, YOU - taking that + creating a truly personal celebration that reflects your character + your story. Finding connection with the people we work with + seeing the pure joy exude from them when we’re able to create something truly magical together is music to my soul.

BOUQUET TOSS ✨ Get ready for what is possibly going to be an unpopular opinion… As an unmarried cis-gendered woman in my mid thirties, I feel SO awkward when I am called out at a wedding I’m attending to be one of a handful of guests who have to “fight it out” to catch the bouquet. Hear me out - while I love a good competition, getting married is not a “prize” to be won, it’s a beautiful union between two people who love each other + are deciding to join their lives. Secondly, some guests just don’t want to be up in front of a crowd, and thirdly, why in 2024 are we still gendering these moments?!

Which is why I absolutely LOVED how Cait + Denis made the tradition of the bouquet toss their own! Anyone who wished to be involved could be [all genders, married, unmarried, single, divorced… you get the idea…] Cait threw her bouquet + the person who caught it won an ACTUAL prize - a stunning bottle of hers + Denis’ favourite spirit. A small moment of fun + a way for them to give something back that would remind that guest of them!

YOUR FAVOURITE PEOPLE ✨ Gone are the days of symmetrical, even-numbered, gendered wedding parties. If both you + your partner have the exact same number of faves, then absolutely 100% chose those people, BUT don’t feel like you HAVE to have a certain number of besties by your side just so you + your partner “match”. When it comes to picking a wedding party [if you choose to have one at all], whether it’s one person by your side or ten, choose the people who bring fun, joy + love to your life! Cait + Denis spent an awesome day with their best pals - for Cait, that meant three besties [two in dresses + one in a suit] + for Denis it meant three besties [two in suits + one in a dress] and also his sister. Moral of the story: pick your faves because they are just that, YOUR FAVES! ✨

MEET DANI ✨ Oh hey, I’m Dani - the brains + the heart behind the LOGAN brand.

As a vocalist + DJ - the whole LOGAN journey started out of one thing - an innate love for music. Having spent almost two decades performing in both covers + different original acts [including my own solo project ], I developed a sense of versatility, perseverance + stamina, cutting my teeth on the road, touring Australia + internationally in Singapore, Canada + Sweden. Through performing at pubs, bars + clubs as both a vocalist + a DJ, I honed my skills, learning to read a crowd, extend my repertoire + know when to use it.

I have been so lucky to spend my life surrounded by so many talented musicians + DJs, all of whom I call friends - so the decision to create my own brand of wedding + event entertainment came pretty organically. With a deep love for music at my core, I’m also an organiser and a planner, and oh my gosh I love a party - and so, .ent was born.

I love performing, but equally, I love working with couples + clients to create the perfect entertainment offering for their individual event + watching it come to fruition.

And ICYMI - I got bitten by the wedding + event bug hard and branched out into full planning + event design with our sister brand .events . Here, I get to take my organisational + creative capabilities to the next level, coordinating, managing + designing all aspects of an event from inception to fruition.

PERSONAL TOUCHES ✨ We’ve all heard it… “Your day. Your way.” But what does that even mean + how do you pull it off?

1. Book vendors who you vibe well with - like-minded people will understand the event you’re trying to create + have the knowledge on how best to achieve it.

2. Add bits + pieces of things you like in your styling - Ella + James wanted to achieve a retro 70s/80s feel, so disco balls + bright colours galore it was.

3. Include your talented loved ones - planning a celebration of love should be just that, a celebration of love. Some people prefer not to + that’s totally fine as well, but if you’ve got talented people around you who offer to help in the lead up or offer their services on the day, include them however you can! You’ll feel comfortable knowing that the people you love have got your back. Ella’s beautiful bridesmaid , took to the decks for a dance floor set that rocked into the night!

4. Include cultural moments - whether it’s a cultural tradition you particularly connect with or an entertainment moment, this unique part of your personality + identity will shine through in a wonderful way. Ella + James included a fun setup of Sjoelbak [a Dutch shuffleboard game] for their guests to enjoy!

5. HAVE FUN! - it might seem obvious, but emotions are infectious so if you’re having the time of your life, the people around you will too!
