hine Coast and now I live with my loving wife and two daughters in beautiful Bli Bli. I couldn't imagine home like it is anywhere else. During my high school years I enjoyed spending my spare time at Noosa Community Radio which lead towards attaining a job in commercial radio learning all aspects involved. In my early 20's I began working professionally for the "Smart Radio Group" which later became part of "Macquarie Regional Radio." While working in radio I have voiced and produced hundreds of commercials and hosted produced many on air programs. MRR decided to relocate operations inland to Kingaroy however I chose family life on the Sunshine Coast and parted with radio.

Lance Halls

Lance Halls is Fun, Friendly & Professional. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast. My passion has always been music.

At the young age of 12 I became a member of Noosa Community Radio. Each week I’d host a 2 hour program mixing my favorite music that I’d sourced out and discovered to entertain listeners in a recreational way. I loved this platform. I enjoyed presenting and discovering new and great music and it has since been my obsession..

In my youth I collaborated in a hip/hop group writing songs and performing live. Besides playing in smaller venues we also manged to achieve a few festival gigs including RIPE. During this time we bought a Public announcement system and this is when I got familiar with operating one.

I later got approached by the Smart Radio Network (later becoming part of the Maquarie Regional Radio Group). At age 21 I was paneling adds in and out of talk radio and recording voice overs for advertising and pre-programmed radio shows. At age 24 I began as a live announcer hosting the all-request midnight-til-dawn show “Miners Overnight” for miners working the night shift in Central QLD.
