Lance Halls is an Experienced Events DJ that specializes in Wedding reception services and Birthday Parties. Lance works with Rick McCann at Elite Sounds Entertainment and has been for the last 5 years serving all parts of the Sunshine Coast and northern parts of Brisbane. hine Coast and now I live with my loving wife and two daughters in beautiful Bli Bli. I couldn't imagine home like it is anywhere else. During my high school years I enjoyed spending my spare time at Noosa Community Radio which lead towards attaining a job in commercial radio learning all aspects involved. In my early 20's I began working professionally for the "Smart Radio Group" which later became part of "Macquarie Regional Radio." While working in radio I have voiced and produced hundreds of commercials and hosted produced many on air programs. MRR decided to relocate operations inland to Kingaroy however I chose family life on the Sunshine Coast and parted with radio.

Another beautiful day with Noosa Springs Weddings. When weather has its way this venue has the perfect option for the ceremony.

Today reminds me of my beginnings. I was in this same spot in 2009 doing Dj and MC duties for a friend I grew up with. So much has happened since then. Standing in front of the trophy cabinet as I did then. We played Beyoncé - Halo for her first dance, maybe I’ll play that again tonight.

Lance Halls

Lance Halls is Fun, Friendly & Professional. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast. My passion has always been music.

At the young age of 12 I became a member of Noosa Community Radio. Each week I’d host a 2 hour program mixing my favorite music that I’d sourced out and discovered to entertain listeners in a recreational way. I loved this platform. I enjoyed presenting and discovering new and great music and it has since been my obsession..

In my youth I collaborated in a hip/hop group writing songs and performing live. Besides playing in smaller venues we also manged to achieve a few festival gigs including RIPE. During this time we bought a Public announcement system and this is when I got familiar with operating one.

I later got approached by the Smart Radio Network (later becoming part of the Maquarie Regional Radio Group). At age 21 I was paneling adds in and out of talk radio and recording voice overs for advertising and pre-programmed radio shows. At age 24 I began as a live announcer hosting the all-request midnight-til-dawn show “Miners Overnight” for miners working the night shift in Central QLD.
